Great work and 100% worth the 1 1/2 hr. trip to the shop. Had to get my new car sounding right, just like my last one, so 183 Mufflers Shop is the only place I'll come back to.

I had several work done since "183 Muffler Shop" has opened. Mr. Mendez has gone way out of his way to help me from anything from replacing my whole muffler exhaust system, to finding out all I needed was a new muffler brace. He inspects and explains the work that needs to be done, and the pricing he gives me is unbelievable. I owe him some famous Lockhart Bar-B-que, because there are times, he finds something and explains to me what I can do, and sets me on my way:). I will always take my vehicles to "183 Muffler Shop"!

This is the best muffler shop I have ever used I have been in the automotive industry for 50 years I have a GMC Acadia that has a common problem that the dealer and GM wouldn’t warranty even after calling the manufacturer the dealer said that it was a faulty bracket and wanted to replace the whole pipe They didn’t do any welding so I found 183 Muffler Shop in Lockhart They were the nicest guys too deal with They had it welded and put a extra bracket on it so it would not happen again
I would highly recommend them for your exhaust system needs

Great customer service from Daniel! Called for appointment, drove for over an hour and up on the lift immediately. Diagnosed quickly and fixed just as quickly. Also female friendly for those of us that know how fun it is to walk into a mechanic shop. Highly recommend.

Called in around lunch time to see if they had availability to do a muffler delete on my 2021 Chevy 1500 trail boss. They told me to head on over. Arrived around 1:30pm, I talked to the owner and told him what I wanted. They had it done within an hour. I went across the street and ate at Terry Blacks bbq. By the time I was done eating my truck was all done. Definitely pleased with the work. I love the way my truck sounds. 10/10.
