I didn't enjoy going through smells soooo bad of cigarettes. Anything you buy unfortunately will hold in that smell which is a shame. I don't understand why if you must smoke go outside.

This store reeks so strongly of cigarettes! I was hoping the smell would fade away after a while but instead it just got worse and made me and everyone else I was with feel sick. Also, it’s likely that the smell and smoke residue is ruining the items - any competent dealer should take care of their antiques!

Lots of interesting items but less than 1% of things have prices.

Great selection, reasonable prices, the only negative thing is really the smell of cigarettes and mustiness but I think that if they added an air purifier or some way to ventilate the building better it would help. We still love shopping here in any case!

Here it goes!
I was super excited as soon as I came in bc it was HUGE and there is a TON of collectibles! So much to go through and check out and if there’s something you know you’re looking for, I’m sure they have it! The front of the shop is owned by the lady who runs it and then there’s also booth renters in the back so there’s a bunch of variety too. The booth renters have price tags so you know what you’re getting and can plan accordingly but the front of the shop isn’t priced out so you have to find the owner and ask about each item, which I didn’t love bc I have a limited budget and I didn’t want to bother anyone everytime I liked something. I was also on a date and didn’t want to spend my time having to flag anyone else down.
The owner apparently bakes and will let you have a baked good and coffee while you’re there and I actually really enjoyed the piece of baklava I tried! So for those reasons, I didn’t give a one star. However, I ended up leaving really upset. I like found a brass tray in a booth that was originally marked as $65 but there were signs that said everything in that booth was 70% off and so I did the math and that made it $19.50 before taxes and then I double and triple checked as I have autism, dyslexia and a tbi and am on a limited budget. I was super excited and my date ended up finding a couple of vhs that he was excited about too! When the owner rang up my tray, she said it was $45.50 before taxes? I pointed out that the signs said that booth was 70% off and she agreed and then told me that was the sale price? She said it was 19.50 off of 65, which didn’t add up but I wasn’t trying to be a pain but her math was wrong. she then double checked her math and it was still wrong and she told me I was wrong so I looked at my date and thought maybe I was embarrassing him for attempting to get the correct price and ended up just buying it at the wrong price bc I felt stupid and confused. I tried to make small talk but I was really upset, I felt like I was being taken advantage of and I was embarrassed. After we left, my date informed me that I was correct on my math but that he didnt see the point of making a fuss but a $26 price difference is a lot for someone like me and the more I think about it, the more mad I get.
So, lots of treasures to be found there but the prices are random and made up so it’s a coin toss and even though the baklava was tasty, it wasn’t the taste I left with so that’s why I give it two stars.

The staff is very helpful but the prices are ridiculous.. nothing is priced, the girls have to grab items and take to up to owner for prizes given from the top of her head … poor thing that’s why the place is packed with random stuff , you can barely walk sideways around there lol 😂 waste of time to come out with only a brooch.. lots cool stuff but at the end of your shopping day sadly disappointed at myself for not asking for prices right away.. But I’m ready to walk the rest of Lockhart and check it out

Found my new treasure box. It would take me forever to go thru everything. Super old school. Do I care that items aren’t priced? Nah, I have all the time in the world. I know where I’ll be spending my leisure time at.

This antique shop has a bit of everything. Toys, houseware, cloths, jewelry, ceramics, etc. I’ve been here 3 times and have noticed that a lot of the inventory DOESN’T get rotated or bought. Majority of the items are overpriced. Lots of items don’t have prices so they’re constantly going back and forth trying to get a price for you. Which is annoying. The whole store is a bit junky. The biggest issue here is the smell. Idk if it’s the owner or staff in general but someone is an avid smoker. The place reeks of cigarettes. For a non smoker like myself I feel sick while walking around. I wouldn’t recommend this shop. It’s cool to look around but definitely not to buy anything.

Yes - I was there to witness the whole event! The boy grabbing a mask from a vendor’s booth to scare the other kids; which were running around as well. I side with the owner. Yeah the owners voice is a lil’ rough, but I didn’t smell any smoke anywhere. So telling an elder that they are a disgusting person isn’t quite respectful either. Even though they lost you as a customer, they have gained me as a customer instead.

I always support local, but the owner is nasty, rude, and bitter. We’ve been here many times. We took our friends from seguin here today. My children and I are all avid antiques hunters and thrifters. My 2 children were walking around looking for treasures to take home. They have their own money and they’re also customers. The owner came out and was so rude to both of them telling them they had to stay by my side and didn’t care what I had told them. We left the store, after she told me it’s the rule. Keep in mind there’s no sign saying that. I had to go back and talk to her because I was so sad that someone would be so rude to another person let alone children. I told her my children respect adults and just because they’re 8 and 9 doesn’t mean she can be rude to them. She said it’s a “rule” that children have to be by parents. I asked where the sign is she said it’s just the rule she makes stuff up just like she makes the prices up. I told her she’s in the service industry and you can’t treat you customers like that. She didn’t care. What ever. She’s an old bitter woman who smokes in the shop. Also not to mention nothing in the front of room is priced. She will make up prices by how she feels that day. Y’all just lost our business.
