$112 for an oil change is insane. Also took 2 hours in an empty store. Awful place. Avoid.

I needed to have a tire checked out and was able to get it changed out in a pretty reasonable time considering they had a lot of customers and were understaffed

I've always been satisfied with Firestone... Especially with Damien Salinas... Great personality and great with customers... They took care of a mess that luling Chevrolet did... I'm so glad I took it to Firestone, if had taken it back to luling Chevrolet for the next oil change that was due, I can guarantee that they would not have taken responsibility for leaving the oil filter loose and oil all over the cabin.... They wouldn't have even mentioned it to me..Thank You Guys At Firestone...

Took my truck in 2 years ago for alignment. They told me it needed a pitman arm and idler arm. I showed them receipt of when they charged me for those parts last time I went in and told them that if those parts were bad, they should be under warranty. Magically the parts were no longer bad and I recieved my alignment. This year, the told me I needed a whole array of parts replaced on my tahoe in order for them to perform the alignment. Took my tahoe to another shop which confirmed that the parts were not worn out and performed my alignment without a fuss. If these techs at firestone can't flag extra labor hours on your vehicle, they will decline to work on it. Shady, unprofessional practices. Will never be back to firestone again.

They were able to get me in 2 hours earlier and were very helpful with my concerns for my vehicle. They were finished in less than 2 hours and my van now runs great.

3 weeks ago I had surgery and upon getting back home I was going to start my car since it hadn't been driven in a while. My car wouldn't start so I called Firestone to see when I could bring my car in. They told me bring it right in. Got it jump started and drove right over. They changed my battery for me. I have used Firestone for several reasons with my car and I'm so glad they are in our town.

Had an appointment at 2:00 for front- end alignment. Made a week ago. Here it is 6:00, haven't even pulled car in yet. The store is very dirty. Why make an appointment if it still takes 6 hrs.

I have a life-time warranty for alignment and when I made my appointment the major reason for the appointment was for the alignment. Short story, they kept my car all day just to tell me that it didn’t get done because they no longer had a more advanced tech working at this location for the alignment and that I would have to go some place else. This particular shop is supper short staffed it’s unreal. I also called about my headlight going out in just 3 months after spending 3,000 dollars with them on maintenance on my car and if they offer a warranty on the headlight! No call back, no offer to fix it for free because I did spend 3,000 just 3 months ago and that was one of the things they fixed. It’s been really frustrating, and the customer service as well as how expensive Firestone is does not make me want to go back.

Seriously, don’t bother! Worst repair shop experience I’ve ever had. Bad, bad.Made a Friday appointment for a front-wheel-drive alignment and all-wheel tire balancing, which was accepted digitally (I later heard a staff member laugh to a customer about Fridays and say that Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are much better times to come in, good to know). When I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time, and after driving half-an-hour into Lockhart, the store manager told me they were slammed with alignments and it would “be a while.” I said, “2 hours?” He replied, “more like 3.” Given that I’d waste 2 hours driving, I waited, like I didn’t have an appointment. My vehicle did not enter a bay for over 3 hours. My work and the sale were not complete for more than 4 1/2 hours. I mention the sale separately since it took more than 10 minutes to pay because the person running the transaction had to “change something” so that the order could be finalized. Probably that they did not complete the alignment since they did not adjust the toe on the left front wheel. After the alignment my steering wheel was 5°+ tilted to the right on a highway with minimal hip (I can make a lane change to the left without crossing center on the wheel). They also failed to mention to me that they found a small amount of play in the left inner tie rod end (it is noted in the hand written part of the paperwork). I didn’t detect any play when I replaced the struts 3 days before (I checked and I know how to check). But maybe I missed it.Funny enough, there’s a new noise now that sounds just like an inner tie rod thumping, but it is infrequent. When I checked there were fresh wrench marks on the left tie rod shaft that were not there before. My guess is that the tech couldn’t get the locking nut free, torqued the inside tie rod end to breaking and gave up. Yes, if it broke that easily it was worn. Would have liked to had the option to replace it before the alignment. Can’t prove they broke my inner tie rod end, not going to try, but makes me very unhappy. At a minimum, I paid for a wasted alignment, but it was incomplete anyway, so where do I stand?Oh, and the sale only came about because I saw my order come out of the shop, saw my vehicle outside, watched the store manager shuffle the pile of completed but not contacted orders (mine had first been hung on the completed hook) and place mine on the bottom, then I waited 20 minutes for staff to be behind the desk. There was an additional wait here due to incoming phone calls. Mind you, I was the only person in the waiting room by this point, and had been for an hour. I waited for an opening and asked the staff member if my order was done. Probably not how this is meant to work.Notes on the shop: As I sat, I watched several customer orders go wrong. Mostly incomplete work. In one case a customer was watching closely and noted that his tires hadn’t been rotated. The tech couldn’t find the work order. Seemed confused, then gave up looking. The store manager was working in the shop, where I often saw him leaning against cabinets and machinery. Other than when I arrived, he was in the customer receiving area no more than 5 minutes across the 4 1/2 hours I waited.I overheard a phone call with a customer. They were requesting a set of tires of a size that were apparently not in the system. It became clear that they had talked to the store manager previously. The staff member made excuses, talked to the store manager in the shop, but the store manager never took the call. Nice.At the beginning of my time in the waiting room there was a staff member in the sales room/lounge area. They answered what seemed like every other call (several rang out while they watched the tv, maybe they were on break?). Some customer orders were called and marked complete. At least 2 customers came, noted that work was not completed, and left again. By around 2pm there was not a member of staff assigned to the counter and I seldom saw anyone until 4pm. Customers standing, phone ringing. What a place!

We had to go in because I hit a curb and popped our wheel. The girl behind the counter was really nice and got someone to work on our tire right away.We were still able to get our weekend errands done.I forgot the girls name but it was literally the only girl who worked there but she rules and is really good at her job.

Went in for an alignment after having my struts replaced. Don't bother making an appointment, they say you don't have one even if you have an email to prove it. Waited for good while, close to an hour for my vehicle to go back. My car was back there maybe 5 minutes and I was brought the keys saying the tie ends needed replaced. I was very confused since I just had suspension work done. I then had 3 different mechanics look at it and all 3 said that nothing needed replacing. Went to Meineke and they got it aligned straight away. Firestone just didn't want to do the job and they had no issue sending me back to drive my vehicle with the tires out of alignment. Never will I go back to Firestone.Service: Wheel alignment

We got a flat on our way from Houston to Fredericksburg, and they swapped our tire out immediately and got us back on the road. Great service! Thanks a bunch!
