Cool little spot on the square, downtown. Food was AMAZING (cereal chicken and waffles and Southern Benny) drinks were great as well (tiki sunrise and orange Julius mimosa). Wait staff were really friendly, too!

such an intimate but family feel atmosphere. the service couldn’t have been more helpful, and the food would call us back over and over again. Can’t wait for more nights here, our new favorite spot!!

I went and had the chicken fried steak dinner plate. The food was delicious and the staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is classic and gives a high end trendy vibe. It is definitely worth trying this place as they offer well known dishes with a twist.

This is MY FAVORITE brunch place. Recently under new ownership from the el dorado! So don’t let the past deter you from your future favorite brunch spot.
Charlotte’s is the kind of place that makes you feel at home the second you walk in. The drinks are top-notch, the food is warm and comforting, and the Cyclops Waffle is a family favorite—my kids love it, and so do I. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, but still calm enough to enjoy a quiet moment. The owner truly cares about her customers, and it shows in every detail. Whether you’re here for a drink, a bite, or just good company, Charlotte’s never misses.

Went and tried out the brunch. The food was outstanding! Seasoned well and unique yummy options not to mention the beautiful view. The owner, servers and bartenders were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back

Very underwhelming overall experience. We were greeted by the owner and we placed our original order with her. She dropped off two jugs of water which were never filled throughout the meal. Main order took a while and food overall was mediocre. No one ever stopped by to check up on the table. When we finally asked for our checks we specifically requested for it to be split a specific way. The owner AGAIN took all three cards (each one with the appropriate check) when she came back we had realized she charged one of the checks to the wrong card. Overall throughout the entire meal we thought it couldnt get any worse - it did.

I had been there several times in the last 3 years and always had a better than average experience compared to typical "local" "Steak House" fare. This time I was unaware of the recent change in ownership even though the on line menu looked very limited and different. The actual service was quite good from an attention standpoint but I suspect that nobody on staff had any idea what kind of wine (red or white) was actually in their current inventory though this is not typically a local Texas steak house strong point. They also had some problems with a "gluten free" question which is commonplace recently. In any case, the appetizers, steak, and salmon were acceptable though the options were very limited. Hopefully they will grow into an improved model.

We made a res for 6 ppl, and got there a few minutes before our time. The bartender then let us know that they'd recently changed ownership and still hadn't gotten control of this account? So they didn't have a table for us, and said we were welcome to see what was available. They had 2 4tops left and there was no way to squeeze 2 more people at either table. So had to go somewhere else. The sad thing about all of this, is that we have had similar experiences with the previous ownership, and this felt like a continuation of the same. We will give them another chance to hopefully get it worked out and improve things, but we were really frustrated with the experience and lack of effort to make something work.

The good here used to pretty good. The service had always been way below average and you would get better service at waffle house or IHOP. We went today to get brunch and their sign says they open at 9am and the server team didn’t show up until 10:30am and kept saying they were running behind.
They only have a few items on their menu and the one basic breakfast of biscuits and gravy wasn’t available due to them not being able to make their gravy properly.
So if you’re looking for a place to eat where you have to wait 15 minutes for your drink order to be taken, then another 20 minutes for your food this is the perfect spot.

Went today for the first and probably last time. Ordered a chicken and brioche French toast waffle dish which included whipped cream and pecans. About 7 minutes later was told that they were out of chicken but they could substitute bacon. Approximately 30 minutes later I received a plate with 2 pieces of bacon and 1 piece of French toast made with white bread. I asked about the waffle and was told that the waffle iron was gunked up. There were no pecans or whipped cream. I was so disappointed and hurt. It’s Mother’s Day and there was nothing special about what I received! Presentation and quality were seriously lacking!! There’s no way that was worth $17.
