I LOVE HEB AS MUCH AS I LOVE SMALL TOWN GOSSIP! I had been looking forward to stepping foot on Texas soil and visiting my favorite Texas grocery store, HEB, for the last 4 months! I Was a regular shopper at the HEB in Bastrop. Then I moved to Georgetown and was a regular shopper at the 3 HEBs in Georgetown! While staying in Lockhart, this weekend for a family wedding, I went to the local HEB. It wasn't the HEB, I'm use to shopping at. It was much smaller and older. That part wasn't a big deal, because Lockhart has a smaller population and that store has been in the same location for a long time. I went in to grab some flowers to bring to a local friend of mine, that invited TV (The Villain, my husband Ray) over for a BBQ. I was also going to grab strawberry shortcake fixin's. I went to pick out flowers and half of the selection was wilted. There was a young lady vacuuming the floral section, that clearly saw me waiting to peruse the rest of the flowers. She took her sweet a$$ time vacuuming. I patiently waited. When she was finished, she shot me a snotty irritated look. I'm not sure if she was mad that she had to vacuum or that I patiently waited. This is NOT the customer service I'm use to receiving from HEB! That was the first time I saw an HEB employee unhappy to be working at HEB! I was as confused as a fart in a fan factory! (Personally I've always dreamed of working at an HEB, if Ray aka TV (The Villain) divorces me. I would move myself right back to Texas and work at an HEB) The good news is, this HEB carry's a lot of my favorite HEB products! They carry my Cobb Salad, that I use to eat at least 3 times a week! Their tortilla chips with Sea Salt! Their Ice Cream is to die for!!! Their coffee! I could write a novel about HEB products, but I don't have time. Bottom line; HEB has great prices and products! I've missed you HEB!!!! PS. I would love an HEB t-shirt, I wear a women's size medium SSDGM, Elaine

Worst customer service EVER by phone ! I've been calling for 45 minutes talked to 5 individuals who all said they were transferring me to the meat market, and no one would answer. Not even the store manager . This appears to be a shoddily run business .HEB should train far better .

I've been coming here forever, and it's always awesome. I maybe be a little biased since it's kind of nostalgic since I've came here since I was little, but it's still an awesome store. It's clean and well kept.

We had such an amazingly special time during our visit to the Lockhart Texas HEB Bakery. We tried to set up a visit with numerous other bakeries with no avail. No one else would permit this little American Heritage Girl to visit and earn her Cake Decorating badge. The Management team & especially Philip made our day. It was especially touching that they were equally excited . Natalie in the bakery made Annastasia's day by gently guiding her through the HEB bakery cake decorating process.

Pharmacy specific. When you call in your Prescription and it says pick up tomorrow at 11 when you arrive 'tomorrow after 11' you don't want to hear it's not gonna be ready until the next day. Especially when you've driven 20 minutes each way to pick it up AFTER the time that they said it would be ready. Now I have to go back again and waste another 40 minutes of my life. I will not be using this pharmacy again I'm sure they and I will be much happier. This is not the first, secor even third issue I have had with this pharmacy but it will be the last.

I have now been ghosted by HEB delivery over 3 times!!! I ordered groceries to be delivered at 9pm & by 10:15pm, no HEB delivery in sight. I had to call to find out if I was ever gonna get my groceries. After I was put on hold & transferred 3 times, I finally got someone who said they would not be delivering my groceries tonight, it would be tomorrow. However, they could not tell me what time, so I insisted on speaking with a manager. Alana, the manager, got on the line & repeated the same to me and also threw her coworkers under the bus, saying she did not know that no one had not called me to tell me that I would not be getting my order until tomorrow. I told Alana that had someone called me & told me early enough, I would have driven up there & gotten my groceries, curbside. I then asked if someone would be calling me to tell me when my groceries would be delivered & she told me that I had to call myself. What wonderful customer service. If this was the first time, I could've let this go, but this store make so many mistakes...time to switch to another store & just drive there to pick up curbside!! Lockhart HEB just can't get their act together!!! Shop locally? Smh!!!

I scheduled a curbside delivery for this afternoon and because I was in a rush, I forgot to add something I needed. I called HEB to see if I could add it or If I had to make another curbside visit , I spoke to Tracy from Curbside. She is super polite and sweet , she actually went to go check if they had any cakes and was able to add it for me . Even was able to add some birthday candles. I know you guys at least have one good employee.

Avoid this store at all cost if you have any type of disability. I visited this store on Wednesday, November 18th. I had my Certified Service Dog, Peaches with me. I have brought her in the store many times before with no problem. I always bring a quilted blanket in to lay in the basket so she has no contact directly with the cart. We walked the store, gathering purchases, walked past a manager and multiple team members. We completed our shopping and were in the checkout when a team member came up and told me that I could not have her in the cart. She would have to walk on the floor or I would have to carry her. I attempted to explain we had been in multiple times before with no issues. I also explained that she is 4.5 lbs and 6 inches off the ground. She is my Service Dog because I am Type 1 Diabetic. She alerts by smelling changes in the smell of my breath. How is she suppose to do her job if she is 5 ft away from my face? I was then told that I would have to request a carry out so that they immediately could sanitize the cart. I finished the checkout and spotted two Management members, Corey and Darla. Corey just kept apologizing and Darla just kept rolling her eyes at me. Nothing was resolved then and the phone call that I got the next day from Corey did not resolve anything. I have heard nothing since from HEB. My service Dog gives me a chance at some Normalcy. If everybody did what this store did I would be house bound only allowed to go out with an escort. HEB has lost my business. Not just the store in Lockhart, but the entire company.

Tonight, we picked up our first curbside order from the Lockart store. What a wonderful service! We really appreciate that H-E-B is providing curbside pick up and doing their part to protect their customers. I do NOT care they are unable to give us access to every single item in the store. I believe the selections are more than adequate. I am absolutely thrilled with H-E-B and with their curbside service! I almost did not get this app because of some negative reviews, but I am so glad I did. I am totally low tech, but I did not experience a single problem with the app or with the service. I did experience a couple of substitutions, but I was happy with what I got. One item was not filled at all. Not a problem. I don't mind ordering it again. Those people who shop for us do an outstanding job and what they do is not as easy as some people think. H-E-B's FAQs say not to tip staff who put groceries in our cars. Why not? We did & it was greatly appreciated and well earned! I only wish there were more dates available for continuous shopping.

It's a standard HEB this no super HEB. It's conveniently located for us when we are heading to the ranch. Keep in mind it is presently in the midst of a remodel so it is crazy time amongst the aisles. Do yourself a favor and find a parking spot away from the crowd as the spots are tight.

Not a good variety in this run down store. Do not visit the bathrooms they are old filthy and scary. The parking is horrible. Not enough for the amount of customers. The people who work there is extremely helpful professional and nice. We try to go shopping but too aggravated with the parking issue we have no other choice but to leave. We drive down to the road to a building with plenty of parking (Wal-Mart). When we have time we will drive to Kyle. That HEB plus is incredible. I dont think I will ever step foot into the HEB in Lockhart again. Wal-Mart in Lockhart is the way to go unless we decide to make a full day out of shopping and leave town.

Awesome service. Its like stepping back in time to a real grocery store. Friendly and fast checkout. This HEB could give lessons to some of their larger brethren on how to provide selection, service and customer satisfaction.
