I called this morning on the 27th and talk to a very pleasant woman about 2 scripts that had not been sent over yet. So after I got it squared away with hospitality
it was sent. I called back to Albertsons pharmacy and a man with an accent was very rude on his response and didn't want to take my insurance info and said it wouldn't take long when I came in to change it and then just hung up. I wasn't even finished talking. Very rude and no customer etiquette at all. This is why Albertsons is not my home pharmacy.

Kwame could use some work on his people skills. When you say we dont have it and dont know when we will get it and I should check elsewhere thats exactly what I will do.

Big shout out to Reginald the pharmacist and Kimberly the technician. It was thirty minutes to close last night and all ten of our meds got messed up and sent in a voice-mail to hand write out instead of electronically. They were so nice about it and our insurance was having issues. They stayed over closing to make sure we got our antibiotics and steriods. Most places would have just closed and not said a word or even told you sorry you are going to have to wait. This is not the first time they have helped my family. They always go above and beyond and so sweet about it! Thanks for all you do for your patients! We appreciate it so much! 🙏🏼

If you have any opportunity to go elsewhere for your medications, I would recommend it. Especially if you take any type of controlled pain medication. They'll only give you half of what you're prescribed, pocketing the rest for themselves. They said next time they'll count the pills in front of me, and said there was nothing they could do about it.
I'll definitely began in contact with Albertsons corporate.

I had surgery in a different state and had schedule 2 drugs that were put in to be refilled. I received a phone call early in the morning and had to call back since i had missed the call. I was on the phone with a female then she gave the phone to the male pharmacist (don't know his name). He was absolutely rude. He told me that it isn't possible to refill these, considering it came from out of state. which is fine, i didn't know that! However, he started giving me attitude and telling me that my PA shouldn't be doing this and my doctor should know this. I will no longer be using this pharmacy. I wish i had gotten his name, because the attitude and the way he talked was unprofessional and just rude.

Usually they are quite good, but today I must have caught them off their game.
I came in for the flu vaccine and was told I needed to make an appointment online. No problem, I figured it makes sense to fill everything out on their website rather than in person. The first appointment availability was in 1 hour so I selected that slot and finished the forms.
Since there was no line I went to the check-in window to let them know I scheduled the appt and asked if I could go ahead and get the vaccine now rather than waiting around for an hour.
She pulled up my appointment and said it wasn’t for another hour and I would have to come back then.
Since they were just working on putting together prescriptions that had been coming in through their system, that didn’t make much sense to me. No one was waiting for their prescriptions to be filled, so taking 5 minutes to knock out my vaccine and then getting back to that work would not have caused anyone any sort of delay.
I tried to reiterate that taking care of my vaccine now would save me a trip back to the pharmacy an hour later and they could quickly get back to what they had been doing.
However, they reiterated that there were only two of them and they were filling prescriptions and that they would see me back there at 11:00.
They did not see me at 11:00. Instead I went down to Walgreens on N Fourth, walked in, waited for about 5-8 minutes, and got the vaccine.
And in Albertson’s defense, they are usually quite good so I may have just caught them at a bad time. Maybe they had just dealt with a really tough customer or had a hard morning.
And it was a good reminder to me that whenever possible, to go above and beyond for others. Often, a very small inconvenience to me can be a noticeable help to others. So although Albertson’s did not provide me with a vaccine today, they did provide me with a booster shot to my humanity.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY unless you would like for your pharmacist to call you and ask WHY you need a medication. The pharmacist in charge, Reginald Lewis, called and asked as to WHY a patient needed an "abortion pill". This "abortion pill" was prescribed to a patient by her doctor to manage an UNWANTED miscarriage she was going through. The pharmacist, Mr. Lewis, decided it was in his best judgement to call the patient to clarify this rather than calling the PRESCRIBING DOCTOR. I called to speak with Mr. Lewis, and he informed me that "he was not going to talk to me about this", he did not once ask if I had Medical Power of Attorney or HIPAA Authorization, (WHICH I DO) and "that I needed to do my research," and proceeded to hang up on me.Well, Mr. Lewis - License #39841, I have done my research and reported you to the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.According to the Texas State Board of Pharmacy website, "IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PHARMACIST TO CONTACT THE DOCTOR FOR CLARIFICATION IF THEY HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MEDICAL CORRECTNESS OR LEGALITY OF A PRESCRIPTION."

I switched from here because my regular pharmacy was going to be expensive for my new medication. Prices here are better, plus service is faster. Very pleased.

I was NOT impressed! I'm old, like I remember when being nice to customers was all the rage, old; here, not so much. When we old people go to a pharmacy, it's because we don't feel well. We don't need a lecture we don't need a talking to, hell, with the exception of them putting the pills in the right bottle, we don't NEED a pharmacist. So, when I get a prescription called in from my doctor, for simple antibiotics, I don't need the millennial behind the glass to refuse to give it to me, because the pharmacist is on a 15 minute break. I need the antibiotics to fix an ear infection and I need them to ring it up, let me pay, and leave, so I could get it started. I completely understand their rules, but I didn't need the millennial to lecture me with a condescending tone and smarmy attitude. But, she decided that she needed to, so I decided I needed to let her know I didn't appreciate her millennial attitude. If you don't want to be called out, don't act like that. Get to your safe place and calm yourself. This isn't the 1st time I've been here and not the 1st time I was unimpressed. Not with the Pharmacist, but with the pharmacy tech. I can assure you, however this will be the LAST time I am in the store and the last time I don't use the mom and pop pharmacy, in my own home town.My receipt says that my purchase was rang up by Gabrielle.
