Horrible customer service. You had three employees working, no one in the store, and not a “hello” or “welcome in”. Then, I was ready to check out, the three of you just stood there until the manager blatantly says “do you need something”. I’ll be reaching out to corporate given the multiple negative reviews.

I went in around 10 am this morning I wanted to look for pants, the girls working obviously don’t care to greet customers or ask if we need help.. I walked in they didn’t even bat an eye towards me they just stood behind the counters talking about boys and playing on their phone. Like if you not gonna interact with customers why work with customers?? I don’t understand why they hire people like this it’s very unprofessional it made me feel as if I don’t belong, I’ve never been greeted or helped in my entire time of shopping there I just go to look.

I went in today and they were not welcoming at all. They act as if they don't see you but watching. I seen very nice pieces but everything is overpriced!

The way they watched me and knocked on my door to see if I needed “help” made it seem like I was being accused of stealing! Very pushy and stayed very close to me and every time I turned around I saw someone’s eyes on me! Very disappointed… they really need to watch how they treat people.. if my kids were not with me it probably would have ended badly!

The last couple of years coming in to shop here has been rather disappointing. We used to find several really nice tops and jeans for my daughter and myself. But, lately there has been a very limited amount of jeans we can purchase for her to wear to school, and hardly any of the tops are long enough for "normal" or school aged kids to wear. The hoodies and sweatshirts used to be made of higher quality, now they the seams began to come undone after only a few washes, even with laying flat to dry. Apparently it's gotten so bad that even a lot of the resale shops will no longer accept AE items as they say they are not high sellers. Go back to the old designers or who you used to get your clothing from, or I fear this might be another store that falls off into the wind. It's sad because you guys have literally the best fitting jeans, but if they have holes all in them, we can't wear them to work or school.

I’m out shopping with my son yesterday (9/22/21) at around 5 pm and we decide to go into AE. We walk in the one in Longview, TX, 3 employees are standing around laughing not doing anything, they see us, never speak or ask us do we need help. The energy was not welcoming in that store. I wanted to try on some pants but as I have the pants in my hands and get eye contact 2 of the ladies walk in the back smdh. I’m a cardholder of this company and spend money with this company and I’ve never experience service like this. Longview TX needs to really do better with customer service. I see why that store was empty. Won’t return
