Horrible service, came in there actually late and the car was still not ready, I had to wait 40 min for them to do my check in and tell me they needed also a passport and when I booked the car it was stating they just needed debit card and Driver’s license. I ended up having to cancel my travel plans.

I had company from out of town that tried to rent a car here. The scanner would not work to read his drivers license. The worker said his license was not valid. He pulled up the license website that shows his license was valid and she did not care. She had told him when he first walked up that he was her first customer of the day but when the supervisor was called and the worker was asked if the scanner had been working she said oh yeah I’ve been scanning licenses all day. No offer to try to fix the situation. Ver poor customer service on her part and the supervisor. I think Enterprise is the way to go here.

**DEAD RAT FOUND INSIDE RENTAL CAR** Zero Stars if I could. My family and I arrived to get our rental from this place at 9 am on a Thursday, and we had to wait an HOUR or longer to get our rental. Once we got our rental car (Ford Explorer) I opened the door and there was a VERY FOUL smell. Not only that, but the car was uncleaned. I found a rodent trap under my seat with a fly that was still alive stuck to it. There was thick dog fur everywhere. My husband and I had to vacuum the car ourselves at a car wash before we got on the road.
We drove 13 hours to our destination with this FOUL smell that smelled like something had died in the car. Once we got to our hotel, my husband went back to the car to investigate the foul smell. He found the culprit of the smell. A DEAD, decaying RAT that was stuck to a rat trap under my daughter's passenger seat. We are BEYOND DISGUSTED. My daughters are TRAUMATIZED and now need to be evaluated by their doctor as they have been feeling ill ever since our trip. I do not recommend renting from Avis/ Budget it was a horrible experience. They will be hearing from us regarding this matter so nobody else has to go through this.

I reserved a minivan for the room. When I arrived they didn't have the van. The substituted a jeep which was extremely cramped for a 10 hour drive with kids and luggage. The only positive thing I can say is the attendant was extremely sympathetic and tried very hard to accommodate us. In the end I paid a lot of money to be extremely uncomfortable for a long trip.

Reserved a sedan considering fuel mileage and road conditions....was given a pickup truck that obtained ~8-10mpg less than what I reserved. Cost an additional ~$100 in fuel on my trip because of that.I called confirming a day before- no one mentioned there would be a change; Was not asked about any alternatives when signing in for the vehicle.When I dropped off the vehicle, the dude at the counter did not want to walk and go look @ the mileage himself, so I walked back out to the lot to do his job for him.The truck itself was nice, but I specifically wanted a sedan w front wd or awd as 300+miles of my return was in ice and snow....not joyous in a light rwd pickup truck.**EDIT** After the review, the management refunded me $41 which was a nice gesture, and is appreciated.

This is a car rental firm at a small airport.PROS: There are a few. Cars are new, clean, and low mileage. Rates are whatever the market will bear, and are about the same.CONS:Where do I start…..- This location seems to be frozen in time - the airport upgraded years ago, and the agency is in a new area of the airport, but there’s no real signage hawking the “Budget” logo or brand. The first time I rented here, I thought I was at the wrong counter!-The sign indicating the rental car parking area is a VERY faded “Avis” sign. Needs to be replaced.- They are still using a dot-matrix printer and continuous form paper for rental agreements! Translates into S L O W.- Both times I’ve rented at this location, there has been ONE person behind the counter, with at least 3 patrons ahead of me.- Wait times for confirmed and pre-paid reservations are as long as 30 minutes. - - They are the only rental agency at this airport, so there’s no competition, and it shows.-Complaints to Customer Service fall on deaf ears, but venting certainly made me feel better.

Unfortunately, I left 2 items in the vehicle when I returned it on 09/29/2023 in DFW and the location told me that they did not find the items. I am 100% sure that I left both items inside the car when I returned it and don't understand why they haven't been retrieved at this point. This is leads me to believe that someone in that location stole them and that's is a serious situation that your Company has to look at with sense of urgency. I need my items.
