Great great great great great great great service thanks to Mr Ward the manager put rate and courteous service give it to me the customer service was impeccable add a great gentleman to drop me off at Amtrak and wait there with me until they corrected my ticket and brought my luggage inside to be checked in God bless you God keep you God keep working for you for the benefit of others like myself I will see you again in the future add cheap towels God bless you keep running for Jesus don't get tired ???????

The worst experience I’ve had with any rental company. I reserved a cargo van the night before and when I arrived at the location they didn’t have it available. The lady at the front desk didn’t even care about it and was rude and unprofessional. Their online system has nothing to do with this location because they don’t have the cars available online at their parking lot, but they let you reserve. Looking at their unprofessional employees, I can tell that they probably don’t even care about this review, but I wanna let as many people as possible know to avoid this place at all costs. They ruined my whole planned trip to Dallas to pick up and I ended up spending way more money because I had to make a last minute reservation with a different company. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Only giving 1 star because I can’t give zero. After having a rental for over a month I was charged nearly 200 dollars extra for cleaning and refueling because the black carpet in the driver floor board was dirty and I returned the car with a little under a half tank, even though it was just barely above a half tank when I picked it up and smelled like cigarettes the moment the air came on. Until now I was pleased but that amount of surcharge for fuel and cleaning when I warned them from the beginning it’s going to get dirty is insane and unwarranted. I’ve never had this with ANY other rental company. I will never use any hertz location again, enterprise may be a long wait but they’ve never charged me above what was agreed on in the beginning.

I had the worst experience ever at this rental place. I made my reservation the night before at a good price. However, when I arrived in the morning, they claimed there were no cars available, despite the lot being full. The lady at the front desk received a text message from the guy at the other desk before informing me that there were no cars. When I checked back online, there was some availability, but at much higher prices. I missed a very important appointment because nobody else had cars available.

I’ve rented vehicles from Hertz’s competitor for over 20 years when traveling for business and, at times, pleasure. After a recent unpleasant experience with my go-to rental company, I found myself reaching out to Hertz to see me through the tight-spot I found myself in. I am so glad I did!The associate, Tyler J., was an absolute angel. Without going into details, Tyler bent over backwards and jumped through a few hoops to accommodate my request. She provide exceptional customer care and I found her attitude and personality to be a breath of fresh air.This singular experience has turned me on to reaching out to Hertz, specifically Tyler when/where applicable, first. I encourage others in the Longview area to solicit Hertz for their car rental needs. Hopefully you’ll have to good fortune to cross paths with Tyler if and when you do.

Renting car is never easy...I would not try it when you run over an oil pan dropped by an 18 Wheeler. It totaled my car. My insurance rented us a Hertz rental. Hertz made it easy. Thanks.Great location in Longview.

They said no smoking or pet hair in the vehicle but when we picked it up it reaked of smoke and had pet hair everywhere. Charged $250 more than they quoted us. And after going through things with them only deducted $50 off total price. Won't ever use this company again.

The rental clerks came through for me just in time. Enterprise and Avis fell through after reserving online but no cars available at pickup. I went to Hertz when they opened up the following day and I had a rental in about 15 minutes. I used Hertz during my military service and forgot how they have always came through for me. Thank you to the two gentlemen that work at the Spur 63 Longview location.

What does it take to talk to someone? I’ve called 5 times. The first time, a female answered and said she had someone at her desk and would I hold. I said yes, but after 40 mins, I hung because I wasn’t convinced they would ever pick up. The other 4 times, I was simply disconnected. How are you supposed to talk to someone to rent? I guess I’ll have to go somewhere else!

I walked up to this office @9:30 am to rent a car. As I walked up there was a gentleman outside with a Hertz shirt on. He nodded his head as to acknowledge my presence but never said anything. I went inside and there was no one in the office. I waited about 10 minutes and the gentleman walked inside, retrieved a phone from the back desk and was about to walk out when I asked if anyone was working inside. His response was it’s me and I will be with you when I’m done cleaning this car. He could have communicated that to me when I arrived. So I went to another rental establishment and rented a car for a week and they were happy to do business with me. Training employees to respect the customer and corporate should maybe hire more employees so as not to lose customers.

Worst car rental place in longview..... We made a reservation 3 weeks prior to the date needed and prepaid for the car they waited till the day before to inform us they did not have the type of car available they forced me to upgrade at an additional cost then when I went to pick the car up I was not able to pick the car up because their systems issues keep in mind we was leaving for vacation that day. Avoid this place at all cost and make sure to avoid Te Ward he has the management skill of a poodle on crack.....only reason I gave it 1 star is to post this review I could five 0
