My complaint is the soldering job done by james avery. This is not my first experience but first with this location. James avery does not guarantee their work or replace lost charms. Today I lost my charm due to a poor soldering job. Right where it was soldered is where it broke apart!! Very disappointed as a long time JA customer, this is not okay and needs to be addressed with corporate. I know I'm not the only person to experience a bad soldering job and losing a charm. No pictures are allowed or I'd post one.

My daughter gave me a necklace with 2 charms along time ago and the clasp didn't work anymore took it in and they replaced it at no charge

If I could give 0 I would. The last time I stepped foot in the location by target I didn’t get greeted, the associate assisting me kept making remarks about she should’ve gone home already. Another lady came to take over and she said she had it and I would be her last before clocking out. I wish she would’ve gone home because the WHOLE transaction was humiliating and her comments didn’t stop about she was late going home. Mind you this was at the pick up part. The dropping off was worse. I ordered the ring online first. The ring was with me a week before I took it back to the store to get resized not returned. It was an issue because they didn’t want to take it since it was engraved. They criticized the font I chose because they couldn’t read it. They criticized the way I chose mm/dd/yy because they didn’t like the slash and wanted to change it to mm.dd.yy so we felt forced to change it to mm-dd-yy to stop them from continuing criticism . My husband saw how embarrassed I was getting and said he only wanted it resized but loved how it looked. They continued to make comments about “we don’t EVER get gold rings in here” really loud for everyone to hear. This was just the wedding band. I also tried to leave my gold heart earring studs to get cleaned and they made me wait for them bc they didnt want to keep gold overnight when I’ve cleaned these same pair multiple times and it has never been an issue to pick up the next day. Waited for them and all for the earrings to literally have gunk on them without need to pick up and inspect. There were comments made about a mom’s day charm from the year before being returned as a duplicate because it was from the year before and it “didnt even look the same material” comments made to another associate. I couldn’t even be offered a bag or box to place my items in to leave. Needless to say I was beyond embarrassed, cried in my car while I waited on the earrings and since then have driven to Tyler or the location in the mall instead. Individually and as a family we used to shop here so much and spent good money for these items since we prefer gold or diamonds. Please do better with your associates. I was shocked to received this treatment at a place I’ve been in multiple times before and was treated with decency. Besides that, the wedding band was beautiful and once the size 13 came it, fit wonderfully.

Needed a birthday gift for my mother and a friend, and was absolutely dreading the process of having to shop around this morning. Sarah turned that around for me quickly! She listened to me rattle off random thoughts and helped me find three great charms! I hate shopping, the ladies here made the experience great. Thank yall!!

I was so impressed with the customer service at the Longview James Avery. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was asked what they could do for me. I needed to drop off my retired pendant that needed a major cleaning and Holly was very helpful. Olivia, the associate doing the cleaning, did an amazing job on my pieces, the looked brand new! I am so excited I can enjoy my jewelry again!

So many beautiful pieces of jewelry here! And the staff is lovely and ready to help. Took advantage of the buy 2 charms and get a free necklace or bracelet and completed a birthstone bracelet that has all the family birthstones. A bit pricey, but the quality is incomparable.

Came into the store nobody came and asked if we were helped they acted like we didn’t even walk in. Really wanted a ring but that was such a turn off! When usually they speak as soon as you come in or someone will come up to you within 5 minutes.

My husband came in and was greatly helped!!!I wanna say her name was Jessica who originally started to help him. My sweet husband had a vision and she made it happen along with what he said other ladies joined in on helping arrange my charms. I’m absolutely in love with my bracelet and necklace ❤️
