I’ve always wanted a custom made full beaver hat. Mike’s Custom Hatters in Longview, Texas was recommended to me. Mike has been building hats since 1977. That’s a few years of experience and I know as that’s the year I graduated from high school.From start to finish the service was excellent. They answered my questions and gave me advice. They went the extra mile during the final forming and fitting. A few minor adjustments and they dialed it in. The attention to detail is obvious and that makes all the difference.My hat has a nice snug fit, but with no pressure points. The oval and size is perfect for my head. There are numerous places where you can buy a hat, but there is only one Mike’s!A big “tip of the hat” to Mike and his crew. Thanks!

You get what you pay for and their prices really in line with western stores but quality way higher. It takes a while to get a hat made but worth the wait. No comparison between them and the “already made” hats when it comes to quality and personal service.
