Called late in the day, around 3:00 or so to see about getting a tie rod for a 74 Volkswagen. They had it in stock and offered to try their best to get it ready for FedEx before the end of day. It showed up at my house before noon the next day! What a great experience and excellent customer service. Thank you!

What a good experience I had today with Daniel and his father . At Oak Hill automotive I bought my 76 beetle and to get looked at for repairs, these guys are knowledgeable about everything Volkswagen beetles. Very well stocked VW parts house. The owner also runs the counter. Very pleasant, and very accommodating. The prices are really no better or worse than most VW parts outlet. That said, in the internet world we live in, it is often we forget how much better the face to face contact is. For instance; I walked out, got into my truck to leave, then remembered I forgot brake lines. I walked back in the store, obtained the part, then left for home. Try that online. You would have to place another order, another shipping charge, etc. Great place to do business.
