ATM is constantly broken. I don’t want to have to use the tellers especially after I had created an account there, a guy behind the counter made me feel extremely uncomfortable. A woman was helping me and needed a second form of ID. She said a credit card would work. I handed it to her and he walks over and grabs my card from her. He tells her that they need to write down the numbers. The young lady helping me was visibly annoyed with the guy. (I stood waiting to be noticed by someone for a few minutes and the way he was speaking to her was very rude.) He is behind the counter where I can’t see and I stretch to see what exactly he is doing. I did not want my entire card number written down. He gets snarky at me when I state that I didn’t like how he came and took my card from her. I also stated I’m watching to see how many numbers you are writing as well. He ends up walking away and I tell her how uncomfortable he made me. She finished up and I asked her about receiving my debit card. She answered and I thanked her. I then turned to walk out the door and that guy starts yelling at me. Saying, ma’am.. ma’am. At this point I’m running out (I knew I didn’t leave anything behind) and just want to get out of that situation as soon as possible. He yells from behind the counter, as I’m at the door, that he was going to answer my question about the debit card. It truly made me so happy to get in my car. He was very aggressive and it was so uncomfortable. I extremely hate when I have to use the drive thru or worse go inside. I will be closing my account since the ATM never works and it forces me into uncomfortable situations. It makes me not feel comfortable or confident to use this bank and they have all my personal information.

Absolute scam of a bank. They won’t confirm someone’s checking account when your bank calls to cash their customers check and then charge 1.5% to cash their own checks to non customers. A purposeful racket.

Prosperity Bank just took over my bank. When I called Prosperity for assistance with my auto drafts, I did not get Repesntative on the phone for 20 minutes. When she did answer, she said she did not have access to my prior bank's records. Then she said she would have to login to another system to gain access. I asked her to do so as I need assistance. I was placed back on hold for approximately 20 additional minutes and then line went dead. Issue unresolved.Prosperity sent me a new debit card that does not work. Bad chip and the strip on back also won't work. I'm now on hold for 30 minutes! No answer, but recording assures me they know my time is valuable. I will be taking my banking business elsewhere. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

We have used this bank for 15 years. They have branches in Longview, Tyler and Austin that we use when traveling. Texas based company that offers good service and multiple locations. Staff is friendly and professional.
