T.J. Maxx is an off-price retailer offering an ever-changing selection of high-quality, brand name and designer fashions at amazing value. Customers report great prices and are happy to get great brands at good prices, including professional brand hair products for low prices. However, some feel the selections are not as great as they used to be, comparing it to a garage sale and noting the style selection is not fashion forward with muted colors. Experiences with staff vary by location. One store has employees described as the best ever, who go above and beyond to help, with wonderful employees and managers. A specific employee at that location is noted for having an amazing attitude and making the shopping experience enjoyable despite long lines. Conversely, another shopping experience felt rushed near closing time, leading to checkout issues where a customer was charged twice for one item and full price for a clearance item, requiring a return trip to rectify the error. The store's rewards program also requires the app or a physical card, not just a phone number.
So much more organized and clean than other discount clothing competitors. Their clearance is usually cheaper as well. This is a good too for school clothes shopping every year.

Smaller store, less inventory than a bigger city. But the friendly smiling faces more than makes up for it. The store manager is a professional and helpful person. One of my favorite Longview stores :)
