I requested a cheap plan and they put me on the most expensize one they had. Went to corporate verizon and they fixed it for me. Not sure if the sales guys get a comission but this made me mad because I was very specific.

Garrett Walls was excellent in helping me set up my business lines. Very professional, respectful and knowledgeable. I'm sure the other reps in the store know their stuff, but I feel like I got lucky when I got Garrett to handle my account. A+!

I entered the store after having switched to magenta about a week prior. I wanted a copy of the contracts from financing our phones which legally belong to me. I indicated to the manager, Richard, what I needed and he said he could get them. However, as soon as I said I was a former customer and not a current customer, his whole demeanor changed. He said to me, almost verbatim, "since you are not a current customer, I do not have to help you and I will not help you." I told him that customer service told me to call them while in the store so they could talk to him. He said, again verbatim, "I will not be talking to customer service or anyone today. You need to get out of my store." He proceeded to kick me out of the store, just shy of laying hands on me, which would be assault, I'm sure he knows. Please everyone, avoid this store and avoid this poor excuse of a manager. Verizon should be ashamed not only of their price gouging, but also their poor hiring. Switch to magenta. We saved over $220 per month and magenta paid off our devices, up to $800 per line. Massive savings with equal or better features and perks. It's a no-brainer.

I recently went in to see how I could add my kids' tablets and what I could do about a phone for my daughter. Mario was the gentleman who helped me. I must say, he was probably the best help I have ever had at Verizon! He set me up with the best plan possible for all my needs. Be sure to ask for Mario. Friendly, honest, and super helpful.

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. Recently received a letter regarding discount expiration on my account and took it into my local Longview store when it opened. My husband and I were the only customers in the store. There were at least 5 employees standing around and 2 of them converged at the same time appearing very eager to help me. Probably because they thought I wanted to buy a phone. I showed the letter to one of them and suddenly they became dismissive and rude. I was told they don't deal with discounts in-store. I'm retired so the employer discount no longer applies to my account, however, the only reason I went there was because when I previously got my discount applied to my account last year, it was done there in-store and I was no longer tied to an employer discount then but they still managed to process my request. I was rudely told they no longer take care of discounts in-store. I assume the third person to walk up was a manager asking what was going on and the clerk was very unprofessional in explaining our exchange, so I filled in the missing details. If this was a policy change since my last visit, that would be fine if the young lady displayed even a shred of customer service in handling my inquiry. There is a way an employee should treat any customer, and especially a long-time customer, rather than the way I was treated. Do not waste your time at this store as they have no idea what customer service is nor do they care.

This is not the place to go if you have no idea what you want. I come @ 4 pm, because my phone was not working correctly. It was 9 years old and I was told, "version was shutting phone down. I had to buy a new one". I had no idea what to get. I needed someone to help me figure out what to buy. About 630 we had made a decision about what to get. As I had waited while he multitasked 4 other customers and other sells people were on the floor. .He wanted me to pay taxes and leave and come back next day to get it programmed handed me phone in a box without doing anything else..... I could have ordered from home if that is what l had wanted. I live about 100 mile round trip away.l told him if he couldn't help me now.i did not want it. He said we are closing in 30 minutes. I had been in the store 2 1/2 hrs. I went to store down street from him.the young lady help me pick out a phone .. sold me all necessary equipment, and programmed my phone in one1/2 hours I was on my way home with a useable phone

After struggling to get online help for 6 hrs on Monday and 4 hours on Wednesday, I went to the store in Longview and Cece spent time with me and finally we came up with an option I can deal with.She was great ..the other experiences were horrid.Verizon online service and chats caused the worst migraine headaches that I have had in years.All they do is put you on hold and then pass you from one person to another.Horrible service online.

I purchased a new phone a week before (from here) for my 70 year old mother and put her and my father on my Verizon plan because they had no signal on at&t.We are not tec savy and needed help changing everything over. This location completely shut down and broomed us from their showroom. They didn't even let us past the door mat. Told us to call at&t and refused to help. We were the only people in the store. We left and went to other location across from mall. Collin helped us with no hesitation. He moved old numbers over, data and contacts. He also got my business for life. I run a business with several company phones and he will be handing those as well.
