I was able to get what I needed but dislike all the Scan and Go stations. I support employing people, keeping jobs available. That, and the people that shop and work there are rude and unhappy looking.

Walmart associate, Shondra(?), stayed with me until we found a utility wagon that I had been searching for on my own. She asked questions, used her phone resources, and walked aisles until we found it. I so much appreciated her help!

Fairly clean. Was super busy during our visit, but we still managed to get through (self)checkout without a wait.

I just left the automotive department where my vehicle and I were held hostage over $60.66. The problem started is when I got there at 12:30 PM for my appointment for an oil change, and I realized I had left my wallet at home. I asked the cashier if they accepted tap pay and she said yes. So I waited for 30 minutes for my oil change only to find out that they do not accept tap pay. But they only take Walmart pay. So I put my information into Walmart pay which was my debit card along with linking my bank account to Walmart pay inside their app. I scanned the QR code, but it would not accept my payment. I asked if there was any other way that I could pay they said no. I asked if I could leave my phone behind as collateral and I would drive the five minutes back to my house and get my wallet. They said no. I asked for management and two managers came and said that I would have to find a way to pay otherwise they could not release my keys. I spoke with a friend who suggested that I do Walmart to Walmart or purchase a gift card to use Walmart to Walmart. I would have to have my physical ID so that was not going to work when I asked if the gift card would work management said no. Management came up with ZERO solutions. And didn’t care if I was upset or attempted to deescalate the situation. I called 911 at this point because I felt like I was in a hostage situation and waited almost 2 hours for a LPD officer to arrive. Who gave me a ride home. I was back in about 15 minutes since I had to uber back. At that time they had moved my car and locked it inside the garage. I can only believe they thought I was a thief and would come “steal my car” back from them. I paid my money and left. In my opinion they would not work with me because I am a black woman. My car costs more than their salaries so I was VERY offended.

Carries wide variety of common household items. A lot of cheap goods. Not always the lowest prices (so remember to compare), but reasonable. Their self checkout seems efficient. You can find other grocers with better quality produce and a more pleasant shopping experience (at least in my part of East Texas). So, if quantity is more important than quality to you and it doesn't matter what companies make the products you buy, Walmart is a good option.

I would not recommend using Walmart’s drive up service if you are shopping for food items (specifically dairy and produce). Last time I ordered pick up, multiple eggs were already broken in the carton and half of my produce was moldy or beginning to spoil the same day I brought them home.
Walmart please retrain your staff on how to select food items for customers and please do better about throwing away expired products before they’re purchased.
