I've known will since the mid nineties. I always thought he was an upstanding person. But the first time I hired him for a job he never showed, wouldn't return my calls still to this day. Very disappointed in his behavior. I live 1800 miles away from Longview and needed back brakes put on my excursion so I could get it inspected and registered. When I first talked to him he said he'd be there the next day, and he would call me back in a few hrs. with the price for the repairs.. nothing yet!!. I had to take off of work, fly down, rent a car from DFW to Longview, get the parts, find a place to do the repairs ( Troup Texas). Get the inspection and registration done in one day, get back to Dallas, return the rental car, fly back to Vegas, drive6 hrs home so I could go to work. Which I didn't get to because of a delayed flight (2.5 hrs.). And a semi flipped semi truck in the middle of hwy 93 (2 lane ) for 3 hrs. So....NO... I WILL NOT EVER BE HIRING HIM EVER AGAIN..

Highly recommend to all my friends, colleagues, and family. Phillip is extraordinarily responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. Longview is very lucky to have a great mechanic. I cannot say enough good things about Phillip. He came and fixed my mom's van, needing a starter and he stands by his work. You can trust Phillip will do things right!

I had my truck’s wheel bearing assembly replaced on New Year’s Eve and the mechanic (Brian) did a great job replacing the assembly in a very reasonable timeframe considering there was two vehicles needing repairs in line before mine. I dropped off my truck at noon and was already back in it, repaired by 4pm. I’ll recommend Will’s Automotive to anyone needing work done to their vehicle. The price was more than fair for the work that was done. I’ll be returning for any future repairs needed on my Dodge Ram. Brian Bush is a great mechanic in my opinion.Service: Steering/Suspension

My grandparents said the first couple of times he has worked on their vehicle he did good but this time around its been a mess. He has had my grandparents vehicle for over 3 months and my grandpa has been down there numerous times to speak with him and he will not speak with him most times, he will just leave the office. He has told my grandpa "It will be ready tomorrow, ill give you a call" so many times and he's never called. My grandpa still goes down there and gets ignored and to this day we still do not have the SUV back. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. My grandparents will NOT ever go back to this place.

Brought my vehicle in October to get rear brake pads and rotors installed. The first time after we picked it up, there was an awful grinding sound and it turned out there was a rock between the pad and the rotor. Brought it back and they fixed it, no problem. The day after I picked it up, I began hearing a metallic clunk sound from the rear drivers side wheel. My car is almost ten years old with 90k miles, so I assumed the shock was bad. I had the shocks checked out by the VW dealership, and it turns out the suspected bad shock was actually blown and leaking oil. Got those replaced, and the noise continued. The driving feel of the car wasn't bad. It felt good to drive, so I figured it was the rear sway bar link since that doesn't contribute to the smoothness, or lack thereof, of a car. Well, today I brought my car to Automotive Super Center to get it checked out. It turns out that my rear brake pads were installed incorrectly. The spring wasn't set right and they were loose, rattling around. The scary thing? I drove maybe 8 or 9 thousand miles on those brakes. Personally, I'm slightly terrified about it and very glad I decided it was worth checking out. I will not go back to Will's. Brake pads are one of the easiest things to replace on a car, and I would have done it myself if I had a jack and stands and a flat work surface to work on. But I didn't. I will say, they are very friendly people. I don't think they have malicious intent at all. The work could just be rushed or sloppy, which isn't much different than a malicious mechanic. I don't plan on going back.
