The Barn provides a fantastic rustic setting with beautiful country views, in a venue that is conveniently located in the Lorena area. With The Barn you have the flexibility to create the wedding and atmosphere you are looking for, with freedom to select your own vendors. One aspect that isn't often thought about is the acoustics of the setting. The reception area has excellent acoustics making it perfect for DJ's and live bands. Add this venue to your list and make suer you stop by before booking elsewhere.

The venue is nice, the owner is rude, unpleasant, and inappropriate. My wife and I got married here about a month ago, and he was rude, told us we could go set up tables the night before, he drove 2 hours to get there, then he canceled. The day of the wedding (the following day) he came in while we were setting up, unannounced, started wander like around and went into the bridal room messing with the A/C right as they were about to get ready. Then afterward he stuck around awhile. I asked him what he was doing and he mentioned something about the A/C man is coming and he was checking the thermostat. Then proceeded to tell me he is touring the place. I told him he can’t do that we are having a wedding, he said “well it’s not right now”. I said we have it for the whole day. He said “I reserve the right to tour it anytime as long as the event isn’t happening right then”. Then he tried to go back into the bridal room WHEN THE DOOR WAS CLOSED AND MY WIFE-TO-BE WAS GETTING READY, I was furious. This is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Also, we had the wedding outside, he said we couldn’t use the same chairs outside so we had to rent our own. Also there were big ant hills in the yard where we did the ceremony and the grass was not kept. Additionally, he had a horrible time with scheduling and keeping up with who was renting the venue.
He is clearly not a man of character, do not come here unless you want the owner to try to come into the bridal room while the bride is getting ready, or interrupting the time you reserved.

Our Aggie Moms group has had several events at The Barn and it has always been a great experience!! Tables and chairs were provided and the atmosphere is casual and fun. Love this place!!

Lovely, wam venue. Very spacious for hosting large events. Our Gentiva Hospice Waco absolutely loves this venue for hosting professional events with a heartwarming feel.

This venue is a hidden gem. It has a nice sized kitchen with its own separate entrance and big open space to create a beautiful event.
