“Our review is for the ladies in the office. We've been living in a one-bedroom for approximately 5-6 years now. We initially met Hali, and she is one of the most personable, likable, and helpful gals we've met in all the places we lived when we came to Lubbock 12 years ago. The other staff members are Alisa and Whitney who we have not known for long, but they both are friendly and courteous and answer our questions.We feel very comfortable when entering the office, met with smiling faces, and knowing we will get answers to any questions or positive results to any issue. Not only that, but they have a chocolate candy bowl that my husband cannot pass up!!”

“About a month into my rent with Oak Creek, and I have been continually satisfied with the effort and care the staff takes into taking care of their tenants. The front desk staff are especially remarkable and kind (shoutout to Maggie and Lauren), and Chuy & Bobby in facilities were very courteous, amiable, and knowledgable about what needed to be fixed. When our A/C went out, they were quick to provide alternatives and gave us continual updates. Living is comfortable, and community feels very safe. Highly recommend when openings are available!!”

“I lived in these apartments for a little less than 3 years. I only had a couple of complaints in the last year that had to do with maintenance, but that is usually typical of any apartment complex. I will say, however, that the couple of maintenance guys I did meet seemed very nice and tried to be attentive. The front office staff was also very nice and respectful. When I gave respect, I got respect. I really only had one incident where I felt uncomfortable with someone in the front office. Overall, the apartment was nice, never had an issue with any insects or major breakage of any appliances. I probably would've renewed if it wasn't for moving away from Lubbock :)”

“To anyone looking to lease here at the villages, something to note is that this is quite literally the closest apartment building to campus where I needed to be and possibly where you need to be, anywhere you live may have some sort of issue like not being super clean and or maintenance requests not being completed in the same day. Keep in mind this is student living and you shouldn’t expect somewhere that is designed specifically for student living to be the most perfect place to stay. Now that you have taken the time to understand where I am coming from, I hope you check these apartments out as they have blown me away with the amount of caution they take in their safety and security each and every night. The villages have a security officer that patrols each night and I have had no issues feeling safe here. I am glad I get to call this place my temporary home and I appreciate the southern hospitality provided by a staff member by the name of Emera S. If you are looking to find a place for yourself or your student to live I highly recommend the villages and you should definitely ask for Emera. She goes above and beyond her responsibilities here at the villages to make sure you as a tenant are satisfied and is easily what I consider a friendly face on a rainy day! She is a true asset to American campus community and they are lucky to have people like her!”

“I have been very pleased with the living arrangements here at Hillcrest Manor. The front staff is very friendly and helpful. The only problem I have had is the copious amounts of dandelions. Hopefully they will be sprayed soon. Otherwise I am very pleased with my stay here at Hillcrest Manor!!! Thank you!!!”

“This apartment complex is amazing. Staff is always on top of maintenance issues. Maintenance does not leaving you hanging when stuff is not working. My ac went out a few days ago the following day it was fixed ? everyone of the staff members that work for Ashton are extremely nice and very helpful when it comes to maintenance issues. Thank you very much to the owner who has such an amazing team but a big thank you to the team that works here, and keeps this place up to date and always clean. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone. You will pay a good amount to stay here but they are on top of their work here. I can’t thank you enough for your hard work.”

“Literally love this apartment complex! I moved here from out of state and I can’t praise them enough!!! They are some of the most understanding people! As a single mom of two they understand when I’m late, they work with me on my payments, they always fix anything that ever goes wrong in my apartment, and I was talking about struggling for Christmas this year and the office ladies went above and beyond to help give my kids a Christmas ! “As a long-term resident (11+ yrs) I love the place! SOME people are never happy, so ignore the negative reviews. Management does a great job, the grounds and building are well maintained, and most folks are friendly. Unfortunately, with 73 units you're gonna get a few freaks and weirdos who want to run things.... just ignore them and enjoy your live! One of those 'weirdos' wrote a negative review of PvP after she was evicted for assaulting another resident, resulting in broken bones!”

“you get what you paid for and I would say it is the best place for low-income earners especially international students. for the price, i honestly believe it is a great place to live. The office staff are fantastic especially the guy. Maintenance is always available and fast. it is an old building so expect your stove, A/C and on-site washer and dryer to always have issues. The building get worn-out easily too. roaches is a common thing just because the building is old but they always fumigate just that it is not strong enough.i wish they can talk to tenants to stop littering everywhere. I also don't think the location is safe, as i was almost robbed one night just around the car park. scary tenants also live here. noisy tenants and marijuana smell everywhere.in summary. its a great place for the price.”

“I just moved out to Lubbock and wanted a nicer apartment with safety as my #1 concern. I stumbled across Catalina West and I knew it was the one the second I visited. I love the open concept of the complex and the modern rustic feel they’re going for. I was interested in a one bedroom apartment, but it ended up being leased out before I could sign. I was so sad that I couldn’t secure the lease. A week later I got a call about a 2 bedroom unit. After much consideration, I knew I had to sign the lease because I couldn’t miss the opportunity to live here. I went ahead and signed and it was the best decision I’ve made since moving out to Lubbock! I love the management and maintenance team. They try to get all my issues situated asap. I love how safe I feel here. All my friends and family compliment the complex when they visit. I really do love this complex and I would recommend it to everyone and anyone! Catalina West is the best!”
