I went to cash my check here instead of going to ace and they didn't charge me one penny ! And they are so professional here my teller was so sweet ! This place needs better reviews ! Really quick in and out ! And I have never even cashed there before so first time was super awesome !

Don't use this bank, they are a sad excuse for a bank. I went there the other day to cash a check from the US Treasury . It was only for 160.00, I don't have a bank yet, and read that any bank will cash a check from the Govt..., because .... Well, it's the Government!!!! Duh!! Anyway, he passed it back and said "Oh, if you don't have an account here, we can't do that, in case the US Treasury doesn't have any money,, and of you need to cover it...... BANK PEOPLE,. LISTEN UP,. THIS IS THE U S. TREASURER,,, IN PRETTY SURE THEY HAVE 160. DOLLARS. ..well I would have been embarrassed as a teller telling that to someone,. I mean don't even try to work there,,, that's just ridiculous.....I give it 4 thumbs Down! P.s. Wells Fargo will cash any check from the Govt. Even the 1000. Stimulus checks, without an account!! 5 thumbs Up for them!!!

They put a 9 day hold on my deposit after telling me funds would be available next morning. 8 am money was available, paid 2000 worth of bills, 10 am some flunkie named Omar put a 9 day hold on deposited check, all bills were not paid and over 200 in charges were accrued or late fees. This bank will lie straight to yiur face to get your account!

Oh god no. Do not bank with city bank on 50th st. The woman who is running this location is a shady old hag. Closed account for no reason and their excuse was they can close it anytime they want, if your that bitter and miserable with yourself you have to ruin things for random strangers you should not have any business to be in charge anywhere. Worst banking experience we have ever had. We will gladly take our money elsewhere. They don't even deserve the one star.

Helpful, friendly and great service. Banking fees are waived for most accounts with no minimum balance. I have my personal and business accounts here. :-)

I've banked with city bank for 11 years. And I've never felt so insecure. How can a bank just let someone take money from your acct without your consent? When I tried to fix the issue I just got the run around. My solution. Is going to another bank.
