This hotel has gone down hill. The rooms are in bad shape with paint peeling off the walls, the bathtub drain was pulled out of the wall, the toilet runs constantly. I attempted to use the hairdryer and it was cracked along the coils and smelled like it was going to catch on fire. Then, there is the customer service, it was AWFUL. I asked my teenage son to take the dryer to the front desk and see if they would change it out for us. The lady working the desk was beyond rude to my son while having a personal conversation on her phone. I called the front desk to ask again when he came back with the same broken hair dryer to be yelled at on the phone. She said not to use the dryer. I asked could it be switched out with a vacant room and she said they are 100% full which I know is a lie. The housekeeping team was on our floor cleaning empty rooms. She was unwilling to even try. This was something so small and she absolutely refused to even try and find a solution. During the conversation I asked for the managers name, or the phone number and she said NO and hung up on me. I am a Choice Privileges Member and will NeVER stay at another Choice Hotel. To be treated this way is unacceptable. To be yelled at for asking to switch a hair dryer is unacceptable. This hotel needs to do better. Bad part is there is no way to contact anyone about this stay other than writing a negative review.

Best place and it will always be on my favorite list every time.I come to Lubbock from here on out.You guys don't forget to download the the choice app to go direct to it's location a lot more cheaper than bookings for any other app

Large 2 queen and sleeper couch room. Sheets were very nice. Lady working the breakfast buffet was nice and helpful. Buffet was clean and well stocked with the usual.
Now for the bad news. Our room was dirty and the pool was closed for 3 days for inspection. We didn’t stay that long. When booking on line it should give the dates of primary features being closed. The indoor pool was one of 2 reasons we chose it. Very disappointing.

I've been to more than my fair share of hotels since I love to travel (I promise I'm not a street walker...), this one definitely stood out. Pretty quiet place, not a lot of loitering around the place. The pool was nice, the rooms were clean and staff were polite!

Great service, even with a real late check-in. The overnight staff is friendly and welcoming after a long day of travel. And the breakfast was delightful.

Best thing about this comfort suite is the location. Don’t forget anything in your room and call back about it because it will not be accounted for. I forgot a pair of $600 boots behind after checkout and called a few hours later to notify them and Michael who was working the front desk actually took the time out to go check the room I was in and wasn’t able to locate them in there, in which they were left on the side of the dresser, nor had anything been turned in…Called back Monday to speak with Erika (The GM) and she basically defended housekeeping which I knew would be the case. Never did she offer to talk to housekeeping or check cameras being that it would be hard to walk out with a pair of size 12 boots. Instead of apologizing to me for my lost (stolen) items it was obvious that Erika and housekeeping are in together.

Beware of bed bugs and Martha that works weekend nights is very unprofessional, bad business, and hateful human. Beware the first thing she will do is start yelling stuttering and cussing at you meanwhile she calling cops. Warning if you leave a bad review for her she will later say your not allowed on the property. Management needs to get rid of her!!! Cussing at customers is totally out of line. I asked for refund and she wouldn't answer the phone for bookings so I called she stuttered and hung up on me. Seriously u need to hire better employees then martha. Previously my stay was horrible as well she made me walk in 8° weather told me to get off the property and said I was not allowed to wait for a lyft. She treats others like she's better them. She prepares a salty food and needs to learn how to make proper gravy. I'd highly suggest seeking a better property like country Inn and suites by raddison or la quinta if ur in the lubbock area. Days inn next door is even better and same owners great customer service just don't stay here...

Best Comfort Suites I have stayed at. Nice room, nice bed, cable TV, plenty of hot water and towels. Normal breakfast, but the attendant was on site and constantly cleaned the tables and made sure the food was refreshed. Great location next to the freeway and close to Quaker Street, which is a major street in the area. About 5 minutes to the Texas Tech campus. Air conditioner worked great with a wall thermostat that was easy to adjust. Fast elevators. Plenty of parking. Fast internet. Retuned again in 2024. Still a great place to stay. Only complaint was the low water pressure in the bathroom sink in room 102. Had to get water in the ice bucket from the tub to fill the sink.

By far a fabulous and reasonably priced place to stay. Checkout 12p, breakfast (6a-10a) options were great and rooms were perfect.
