Horrible experience!!! My husband and I checked into our room and noticed our sheets were stained with yellow stains. We asked one of the housekeepers if they can replace the sheets , they then questions us and changed the sheets with an attitude, it didn’t end there, about an hour later we heard a knock at our door and the housekeeper threatened that if I complained to the front office they would not believe us and that there is no point in complaining, given we had not complained or were planing in reporting it to the front office. Overall BAD PLACE to stay , RUDE STAFF and expect your sheets to be stained!!!!

Nice hotel, clean, nice small workout area, all cardio, I believe, nice small pool, great for kids. Small turtle painted on the bottom, I liked that. Concession area by front desk for snacks.

*UPDATE- management is "deeply saddened" and customer service is "deeply distressed" but NOBODY is deeply fair or deeply honest enough to REFUND MY MONEY AS PROMISED.Could not disagree more. The lack of comfort was only rivaled by the lack of customer service. Despite late check in our room was not ready. Once "ready" we found a roach in the microwave and an inexplicable and alarming amount of hair in the bed, in addition to the previous occupants keys and the burn holes in the curtains. The latter wasn't that surprising given the stench of cigarette and pot smoke permeating the halls, or the raw sewage in the elevator. A complaint to the front desk (Martha) resulted in being handed a set of sheets and being told to "take care of it". An inquiry as to the smells was similarly handled as we were told we were lucky we weren't on the 4th floor where they were receiving complaints of a smell likened to that of a "dead body" ( they looked but hadn't found one YET). We intended to check out immediately but were told they would not refund our payment of more than $500 for two nights. In short, if you're looking to be treated badly in a place that smells like a backed up public restroom for $200 a night plus taxes and fees, go for it. At least you'll be going into it with your eyes wide open.

We were passing through Lubbock and needed a place to sleep. This is a clean, comfortable place to stay at a good price. It’s about ten years old, in a safe location close to Texas Tech and easy to get to from the interstate.

Stayed here with a friend what was supposed to be 4 days and turned into leaving the next morning, rooms are DISGUSTING. we had blood stains on our sheets. What looked like poop on the SHEETS?!! Her couch had so many white stains it was GROSS. Neighbors were EXTREMELY loud. Just did not like the stay there. Hopefully they realize they need to clean better.

This place is a complete DUMP. Definitely the biggest catfish you’ll ever encounter in your life. It looks decent on the outside but I’m warning you DO NOT GO IN THERE. First off when I arrived the hotel is hot, musty, and just weird. After checking in then coming back inside the front desk clerk (male) approached me and realized he had gave me the wrong keys to someone else’s room. Entering the room it was so dirty soooo dusty and just gross. I don’t think they have a housekeeping crew and if they do I guess they took the year off. There were stains everywhere bathroom was gross! We drove 2 hours to stay here and ended up driving back home after the event we attended because we were NOT sleeping there ! I was going to call and get a refund but I don’t want NOTHING from this place.

Price gouging hotel. Extremely overpriced! Room stinks! Pubic hair everywhere in the bathroom! Filthy floors in the bathroom! This is a very unhealthy virus ridden hotel! It’s a sheet hole! Facility needs maintenance. Exterior grounds definitely needs maintenance. It’s dirty and overgrown! Couch in the room is filthy dirty! Location sucks. Hard to get back on to the highway. No restaurants near the hotel either! Definitely won’t stay here again!!!! Corporate greed at its finest!

The room was nice but they need to work on their customer service there. They had a really good breakfast. Loved the Texas shape waffles.

This was by far the most terrible stay I’ve ever had in a hotel. Me and my cousin traveled to Lubbock yesterday for the Oregon at Texas Tech game. When we first arrived my cousin checked in at the front desk with an elder-looking lady. My cousin put a card on file to book the room but when we got there she wanted to REPLACE the card on file with another credit card, which my cousin SPECIFICALLY stated she wanted to do. The lady seemed to understand and went through with the request. Afterward, when we first got to the room it immediately smelled of dog to me. I didn’t say anything at first because it is an older building and I get things can’t always smell as clean as you would like it to, plus for the price we paid the room was big so I wanted to bypass the smell. However the more and more we started to settle in I started to notice little discrepancies in the room. The carpet was NOT thoroughly vacummed, the shower was not clean as their was hair and a stains in the shower floor, the whole bathroom floor had hair in it and the comforter had obvious stains on them, not to mention the furniture (couch and sofa) just looked dirty and musty to me (also had conspicuous stains) which is UNACCEPTABLE for the price point we paid ($350 for ONE NIGHT for the game). I get it, some places are short-staffed and you can’t things as fresh as you want to but people still want their “CLEANED” rooms to be ACTUALLY CLEANED especially when you’re getting people from across the country (Oregon fans) and people that have driven a little while to get there (we drove 5 and half hours from DFW). On to top everything off, my cousin was DOUBLE-CHARGED for the room that we were VERY DISSATISIFED with. I can truthfully say the best thing about this hotel is how close of a drive it is to the stadium (8 mins). very dissapointed and probably will never be back.Nearby activities: Texas Tech Stadium is 8 minutes away.

After my late arrival Saturday night (8/26/2023) around 11:30 p.m.I was greeted with none other than my most unwanted guest ever. BED BUGS! After contacting the front desk office and providing them pictures of the mattress and sheets worth the bugs on them. She suggested moving us to another room which understand that there was no way for us to find another motel at that time of the night, so I chose to take another room and talk to management in the morning. so at 12 AM me and my family moved from the second floor to the fourth floor of the hotel. After everything got calm down and we got moved in. We probably got to go to sleep around 2 AM. I had an interview the following morning at 8 AM with a new job. Didn’t get as much rest as I desired. The following morning, I stop by the front desk they told me that the manager wouldn’t be available until later that morning. I kept my cool and I said OK and I went ahead and went to my interview after my interview I followed up with and they told me that the general manager wouldn’t be until 3 PM that afternoon. So I agree that that was fine all I asked if is for the GM to call me as soon as she gets in. So around 2:30 PM the front desk calls me and asked me if they could have pictures of the bedbugs that I had last night. I agreed I share the pictures with him. They reassured me that the general manager would be following up with me as soon as she gets in. Well here it is Tuesday 7 PM and I have yet to hear from the general manager. Dis just discussed me that they would guest valued member guest stay in such a place like this, and then not even offer the courtesy to reach out to them or even offer the courtesy of a three night stay this is the last time that I would ever stay at this type of hotel, or strand of hotel.

I gave this a 5 star review because of Trey the front desk agent who was very busy but still took the time to take care of my mother and I. He was absolutely phenomenal! He deserves recognition for his calm attitude and I feel like he truly cared about the small issue we had. He is an asset to this hotel!
