My experience was absolutely horrible! After being sick for five days and seeing my Doctor who ordered prescriptions, I went to CVS pharmacy. The lead pharmacist tech was so rude and disrespectful that she actually hung up on my doctor’s nurse while I was in drive thru. I had handed my the phone to them talk to the doctor’s office to get the names of the other meds that they sent into cvs because not all of the meds orders arrived to be filled. As I’m driving off, I get a text from CVS telling me my meds were not covered by insurance. When I went inside and confronted her about the situation, she said she gets calls coming in for medication from different places and she does not accept calls over the phone for meds. She arrogantly turned her back on me and walked off. The most rudest and disrespectful person I have ever dealt with. She could care less about people who are sick and needing medication. From reading the other reviews about the CVS pharmacy on 34th & Slide Road in Lubbock. This store needs a good dose of training on customer service techniques, as well as just being kind to customers. I’m not the only one who has seen the rudeness of these Pharmacy techs! This CVS store should get zero stars but I have to choose one in order to post! Changing pharmacies for sure!!!

CVS is one of the most useful quick stops. I buy almost all of my over the counter medications there. Actually allpriciate their food selection when I'm in need of something. If I run out of milk or sugar I know they have me covered and it's just down the street. Also a must for Easter and Halloween candy.

I very much enjoyed my experience because I was able to cash in a mailed offer and one on my last receipt.I was able to buy items at a significant discount. Thank you very much!

This CVS drive through pharmacy has the WORST service. Only had 3 cars in front of me and I am still waiting for over 50 minutes. The wait has become ridiculous. Even if you go inside, you’re left standing there waiting for over 30 minutes or more before you’re helped. Ugh.

What I thought was going to be a quick in and out turned into an hour hurry up and wait session. The pharmacist was loud and rude as he barked out orders to everyone around him. Seems like a very stressful environment for the in other employees. Second-hand embarrassment might be the word to best describe the situation. Overall, avoid this location if you want your Rx fast.

Horrible customer service. Store manager Juan Mares and Pharmacy Manager John O'Conner both unavailable to speak. I called at 9:45 to make sure my My kids prescription was ready and wasn't told that they would be closing early. I drove all the way across town, waited in line just for them to close the window on me when it was my turn.

Had the best service today because of Menna! She filled all of my three prescriptions in a small amount of time and she always has a bright smile on her face and is always very sweet and nice to everyone! This is why I will continue to pick up my prescriptions from this cvs.

Horrible service went to get my Scripps websites said 8 PM. They closed at 6 PM. I then told the tech that their website said 8 PM. He said they were shorthanded. I’ve then told the tech is that my problem or my fault why are you going to punish me because you can’t keep help I will never come to this pharmacy ever again I am transferring to a local pharmacist. These corporations all they do is take our money and expect us to bow down to their needs when we need them so I will be moving all my prescriptions to a local pharmacy.

The new pharmacy tech (African American gentleman) is very rude and unprofessional. Our family been using this pharmacy for the last 8 years. Never had any issues until he took over. He doesn’t know how to communicate or help. After today interaction & last Saturday I’ll be using market street pharmacy.

Would give 0 stars if possible. They gave me 1 pill out of the 6 I was prescribed. Don't waste your time with this place.

I don’t like to leave a negative review but what I have to say has already been discussed with management with no results. This pharmacy is very busy and understaffed. They should unplug the phone it doesn’t get answered. It has been this way for many years. My wife still gets her stuff here; but, I started using Walgreens 4 years ago and have no regrets. At least they answer the phone.

When I had to use a service called "MD Live" just before 3AM Texas time on Christmas Day (2022), this CVS Pharmacy became my hero. Later that same morning the crew here was able to fulfill an urgent prescription for my 9-year-old daughter soon after they opened at 10 AM. The store itself was filled with several customers. I was shocked as it was Christmas morning! There was a drive-thru lane for the pharmacy, however, I needed a couple more items for my child which a friendly employee let me purchase along with her prescription. So grateful for these folks! Convenient location off of Slide Road near both the Marsha Sharp Freeway and Texas Loop 289. Ample free, parking all around. This is one of the very few 24-hour pharmacies in Lubbock, Texas.

I went into this location this morning for the very first time to get my prescriptions filled after a long night at the ER. I was not greeted when I walked up to the counter. I stood there for a while. A man working in the back said "we will be with you in a minute." I waited for a while and then a lady walked up and let me know that I would not be able to have anything filled until after lunch. It was around 8:40am. She did not greet me, she did not ask to help, she was very curt. It did not feel the least bit welcoming. I walked off to let my partner know that I could not getting anything filled until after lunch. I walked back to the counter (no other customers were at the counter during any of these times) and waited for 4-5 minutes. I handed her the slip to have my medications filled. She entered the medications. I asked for pricing. She read off prices of two of the medications. I asked her to read off the third. Instead of reading it off to me, she let me know that she had already read it. I told her I would like to know the price. She read it off rudely and then walked off. I was unsure if we were done or anything. I walked off to a nearby area to find my partner. I told him that I had experienced horrible customer service. She came to the counter and shouted from the counter to the area I was shopping that I could go to another store and listed off several locations. I let her know that I would need my meds filled in a CVS location because of my prescription plan and that this one was nearby my home, that I would not be going to the other locations she shouted out. I do not know her name. She was an African American woman with very very long hair. She made me feel very unwelcome and had very poor social skills/customer service skills. I do not usually leave a review but this was unacceptable service.

I made an appointment for a vaccine today. I arrived at CVS two minutes early but had to wait in line (the pharmacy was busy, this is understandable). When I got through the line I checked in with a member of the pharmacy staff and was told to wait in the vaccine area. After waiting for over TWO HOURS (the pharmacy was about to close at this point), I got back in line and asked if I could finally get my shot. This staff member denied that I had ever checked in, but gave me the shot after some argument. No apology for the long wait was given. Very unprofessional service. The only reason they get two stars instead of one is because they were so busy this evening. I get that you may be understaffed, but two hours? And no apology? I don’t get it.
