Went to this pharmacy after a ridiculously nonsensical and humiliating experience at CVS pharmacy on 98th and Slide. Will, the pharmacist, was incredibly helpful and accommodating with a positive can-do attitude. Got meds I needed straight away and will make this my new pick up location even tho it’s a bit further from my house. Worth it.

Went to this location to buy a Greendot card (prepaid debit card) the manager helped me purchase this card and I paid $100 with the manager helping me. The checkout machine didn't work it took my $100 but that was it, the manager stated that it was not her responsibility to give me a refund that I had to contact Green Dot. I contacted Greendot and they said there is no record of the purchase and because they were not paid for the card that CVS has to refund the money it was CVS that has my $100 and they are refusing to refund my money. This is so disheartening I needed that $100 for a bill now I am out $100 because of CVS and the manager that just was not wanting to do their job. I lost $100 it was essentially stolen from me and my family by CVS.

I too have had the pleasure of dealing with Will, the pharmacist, and he is what almost everyone says about him and his awful treatment of customers. He has hung up on me, lied to me, and was pretty much the way he has been described for 2 years, RUDE! He belittles me, and refuses to fill my prescriptions even when my doctor orders it so. If you get on his bad side, you might as well change pharmacies because this man will do everything in his power to make receiving your medications almost impossible. What I don’t understand is if CVS has received complaints about him for two years, why no action seems to have been taken, because he’s still there, yelling, lying, and hanging up on customers. I will take my business elsewhere, I don’t deserve to be treated this way and there are plenty of other places I can take my business to. I really hope something is done soon or CVS at his location will continue to lose customers. If you don’t have to, do not go to this location, because if you catch him in one of his moods, which seem to be every day, you will have trouble getting your prescriptions.

This pharmacy staff takes great care of our family. They help us use GoodRX or reach out to the doctor concerning prescriptions. They are very busy, but we know they are doing all they can do. The store however needs to address the bird poop problem outside the store!

Not surprising to see other reviews complaining of the male pharmacist refusing to fill. EDIT: I also filed a complaint with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy mentioning Mr. William Bidwell, License # 56166.
Long story summarized: I was told to go to this location that had my meds in stock. When I brought my script, the pharmacist said he needed to verify with my doctor. Once this was cleared up and he had a phone conversation with my doctor I suppose, I came to pick up and was told there wasn't enough stock to fill all of it. The female pharmacist offered to fill half but reminded me I'd be losing the other half. This means the meds they originally had in stock were now gone within a few days, the few days I was told to wait for verification. I didnt accept the half-fill, and when there was stock to fill my order, the prescription had expired and could no longer be sold to me. I watched the male pharmacist immediately take my three months supply back.
Why would a pharmacist be so touchy about his stock of certain medications? It's quite possible they are being saved for other (possibly illegitimate) purposes.
His claim that he needed to verify caused delay that ultimately prevented me from picking up my medication. They were aware of the expiration date, and it almost seems intentional to refuse to fill it. There was no reason for suspicion. My doctor was closed for MLK weekend, so it was literally impossible contact for verification until they reopened.
The pharmacist had no grounds to question a prescription that's written in accordance with state law, and requiring verification in this circumstance is essentially either accusing me of forging it or accusing my doctor of being unqualified to write it. Any other pharmacist would have filled the prescription, especially knowing that I can't see my PCP again until I return home for spring break.

Take your money elsewhere. Bird droppings in the front entrance for months now. Several people have expressed the same concern and CVS has done nothing. This is past the point of disrespectful and just plan criminal. Makes you think they want to make their customers sick for profit. What a disgrace and shame to be in our town.

I went to pick up seizure meds for my dog ordered 7 days ago. Not ready. I asked why it took a week. I just got a stare. This is not the first time this has happened. An hour later I get a text that it’s ready. Not the first time that happened either.

The pharmacist Will and tech Gabriel are great assets to this pharmacy. I actually switched to this location that’s farther away from home, because of the customer service they provide at this CVS. I hope someone from corporate sees these reviews, because it’s your PEOPLE who make ALL the difference. Friendly service, professional, and caring people will keep me returning to this location. Thank you!

I've watched this pharmacy go from very poor in most areas to one of the best group of caregivers outside of a doctors office. The pharmacists are friendly, the new head pharmacist is a really cool guy. The staff works hard to get you the very best price. Today they saved me more than $200 and wouldn't stop until they found big savings. It's hard find people who care that much about doing their job well, but you find it here every single day.

CVS is great. I generally have good experiences there. Prices are good when I use the rewards program. Except for the self checkout. I suppose it being an option is good, especially for people who don’t want to deal with a cashier or something. However, there are times when employees aren’t at the front, so I have to either hunt one down or be forced to use the self checkout. Things often go wrong and an employee has to help anyway. It’s a sign of the times, as self checkout is now everywhere.

The over all location is always understaffed and the pharmacist has a hard time keeping his cool. The pharmacist (Will/William) can be fairly rude and take out his frustration on customers especially late at night. I don’t agree with this because you’re not getting paid to be rude to customers. I understand that there is certain things that are out of his hands, but at the end of the day he shouldn’t be acting like a child. When customers go off on him he gets really upset and he stoops to that same or worst level. I have personally seen him get really mad at a white older lady who was just trying to get her prescription filled. The overall pharmacy is a mess, medications all over the place, they had a fridge issue a few weeks back so a lot of medications were being given out while they were supposed to be in quarantine. I have a friend that also picks up her prescriptions here and she got expired medication. The pharmacist also sucks at managing his staff to the point to where he has to get front store people to go to the pharmacy to help them out because he understaffs his days and doesn’t manage his team well.

honestly if i could give this CVS 0 stars i would.. ESPECIALLY WILL!! he was soo rude i walked in and he immediately told me to leave due to an infestation of rats they are currently dealing with. He didn’t realize I was there to pick up my sister eye drops since she’s been dealing with eye pain for a while. due to that occurrence my sister is now partially blind thanks to will. If i had the money to sue i would have!!

Outrageous and terrible experience with this pharmacy. We made 3 separate trips here to pick up a med - amoxicillin, nothing special - and gave them a total of 5 hours to fill, and they never filled the med. I was told that they are understaffed and backlogged. I understand this happens, but if it is this severe, then more people need to be called in.Ultimately, they could not provide the simple service I needed, so I transferred this medication to a local pharmacy down 82nd Street, where it was filled within 20 minutes. I will do everything in my power not to fill medications again at this CVS pharmacy. The "get in line" mentality for companies with "more business than they know what to do with" is exactly what is wrong with huge corporation American medicine.
