I am a long-time shopper at Food King, and I typically do not have an issue unless I have to deal with Josie or Aiden. Josie is an incredibly rude cashier who clearly does not like her job. Today, she was arguing and yelling with my mother after she took several minutes to exam her ID, though my mom is very clearly of proper age, as am I. She was arguing with my mother so much that she forgot to ring up all of the items and had to cancel the transaction to finish it properly. Then, she started shouting questions at other cashiers across the stalls to try to make a point. When I told my mom it was okay, that she just has an attitude and my mom agreed, she started screaming "WELL THEN DON'T COME TO MY LINE!" even though she was the only cashier available at the time, more than likely for her constantly poor attitude. I told her that she was being argumentative and rude in addition to not doing her job properly, so she proceeded to try to argue with me. Aiden acts the exact same way and has even said, "quite frankly, I don't care if I mess up anyone else's day cause it's not mine. I'm here. 🤷" These two cashiers have mean spirits. They are the only cashiers that I've ever seen act this way and continue to have a job.

this place is a food desert with a moldy carpet and ailes crowded with junk food sure to give you cancer or a heart attack or both. most customers are obese buying mostly chips colas and booze. they do not even have whole milk. the fruits and vegetables are from mexico and so have a multitude of pesticides and harvesting chemicals. anyone who cares about their health goes miles elsewhere. not a grocery store. it is a food desert full of junk,

This location is terrible. The parking lot is horrible, employees are rude, it stinks, never have anything advertised, vegetables and fruits are either rotten or not ripe. You pay 10% more and you still have to take your own groceries out.... There were several packages of meat that had holes or not wrapped right. Just a sorry store.

The location on 26th did not want to cash a 100 dollar bill. The young lady at the register. Said she couldn't break it . When I said that's all we have and I grabbed my groceries she opened her register and had more than enough. I won't be shopping at food King again. They are rude and can't accept money they don't deserve my business or yours

The worst service ever. Our card was declining we were trying to transfer money over. It was taking a few minutes so we moved over to the side so the cashier could keep checking out other customers, as we’re moving away from the counter the lady is looking at us like we were trying to steal. And then yelled at us to leave the baskets. It was very embarrassing. If we wouldn’t have been treated the way we were. We would have stayed to pay for it. Because it literally took 10 minutes for the money to transfer over. We went back in to pay for it. And they were already putting our groceries up. I’ve been going to that store for a couple of years now. I will never step foot in there again.

Great location. Unfortunately, this place has gradually over the past few years gone down hill. I have to purchase items here for work, and everytime I go in, it smells like soured milk. It is a convenient place for people in the neighborhood to get groceries so that is a positive. The produce is often spoiled, especially the tomatoes. A lot of the staff are really nice, but some are a little different and you might get meowed at by one of them. Overall, I prefer to take my personal business to a grocery store that is clean and well stocked. I only go here when my job requires me to pick up certain items.

Small store. They never have the tenders that is advertised and they seem not to care about it but other than that I love food king ! Employees are usually very nice and friendly at this location and the store is clean and organized :)

It’s a mix of a gas station and a grocery store, workers are always nice and they usually always have good stuff, would not recommend buying produce from here. Great spot if you live in the neighborhood, and pretty cheap.

Worst FoodKing/Lowes I’ve ever been to. Everyone on their phones. Don’t think anyone even works. Employees wearing headphones so you can’t ask questions. I wonder what Roger Lowe would say if he saw them. Most of his stores have the best employees and customer service
