I have never left a salon in tears until now. At 58 years old I’ve had some bad haircuts, but this one takes the cake. I showed the gentleman three pictures of what I wanted some call it a fringe mullet and I even use that term. The minute he had me look down and made the first cut. I knew there was a problem. He gone way too short with the very first cut when he had me raise my head up. I said that’s way too short and he said “it’s supposed to be shoulder length right?” my hair isn’t even chin length! It’s not even it looks nothing like the photos. I had to keep showing him where there were big chunks on one side missing how it wasn’t even with the other side and he just kept going to the back of my head and cutting and cutting and cutting and cutting when I left there he kept saying I’m sorry I’m sorry I got out to my car and realized all along the neck of my neck were hairs that were as long as my hair started out, which was down to my shoulder blades, so I had to go back in and have him trim up all of these hairs that were like 10 inches long. If you are not comfortable doing what a customer asks don’t do it! If you have to keep looking at the pictures and you realize what you’re doing doesn’t look anything like the pictures ask another stylist for help do not butcher a customer. Unfortunately, I take medication that makes my hair fall out and makes it grow very slow so this is gonna be a very long grow out process. He should not be doing any Women’s haircuts until he is properly trained. Worst haircut ever.

Bekkah at Great Clips on Indiana and 1585 is great. She's been cutting my hair for a few years. However, there wasn't any hot water today so I wasn't able to have my hair washed and had to endure cold water from a spray bottle to wet my hair.

Checked in online zero wait time . Got there no one waiting. Two stylists one had a lady in the chair, they were looking at pictures on the lady’s phone along with another lady that had her young son there. The other stylist got the young boy in the chair and started cutting his hair. Another guy comes in takes a seat . The lady in the other chair finally got up to leave so the stylist checked in the other guy and checked her customer out and went to sweep up. So the phone rings and the stylist cutting the young boys hair answers and it’s for the other stylist. After the call she shared with the other stylist she needs to turn in her order. I’m still patiently waiting. Once she completed her order she calls the guy that checked in after me back to cut his hair. At this point I got up and left. I’ve been using this salon for almost 2 years, service was ok up till now. I won’t share the stylist name no need to publicly bash her but I’ll not go back.

This location has managed to keep most of their employees for the 5 years I’ve been going here. This place is always clean, and their people are very talented. Thomas is exceptional and gives a perfect cut every time!

I’ve been to most of the Great Clips in Lubbock and I have to say this is my favorite one, the stylists are friendly and listen to everything you have to say about your haircut, and I love the atmosphere here, if there ever is a new stylist and they aren’t sure how to do a certain haircut the other stylists will go out of there way to help. I know some people don’t understand that but they will never know if they don’t practice, everyone has to start somewhere, that being said if the haircut isn’t cut right i love that you can return to get it fixed with no fuss ( within a time limit). I also love that they take their time on the cut to make sure everything is how you asked. The online check in is a huge plus as well, I usually never have to wait long. The stylists here are honest and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you leave with the haircut you want, or the cut that suits you best.

I’ve been taking my son for haircuts with Becca since he was six months old (he’s now 4). She’s great with him! She shows him all the tools she uses on his hair before she does it so the noise or vibration on his head doesn’t scare him. My husband sees her for his haircuts also. We love Great Clips!

This is the Great Clips I always go to. The staff is always friendly and with online check in I never have to wait long. Bekka always does a great job cutting my hair.
