I came to JCPenney to purchase some stainless steel pots and pans. I was looking at their selection, found a set that I was looking at, and sat across the walkway on the edge of a mattress to read the reviews before my purchase. I was then approached by a lady who worked there, (older, short hair) and she was so rude to me and told me I could not sit on the mattress. Mind you, there was an older couple sitting behind me on different mattresses. She said NOTHING to them. Also, what is the point of having mattresses to try out in store, if you can’t sit on them. It seemed like she was just discriminating against me since she didn’t say anything to the other couple. It was not even 5 minutes while I read a few reviews. So, im taking my business elsewhere and will not be returning to this store. Maybe try not to hire “Karen’s”! Disappointed and she ruined my shopping experience.

I tried to give them another chance but I am a bargain shopper and proud to be as a mom of 6. I found 3 pairs of sandals for the buy 1 get 2 free sale but none of the sandals I wanted qualified for the purchase. Oh well I'll use my coupon to purchase something else, oh wait I can't because the item I wanted was on sale and my coupon wouldn't work. That's okay JCP, there are plenty of other places I can purchase from that have good coupon policies.

My mom works at JCPENNY, and I feel sorry for the employees having to work in this heat, fix your swamp coolers, too hot to stand here and wait in line, too hot to shop, too hot to try on clothes. Shame on JCPENNY company for how you treat your employees. JCPENNY has always had this problem. The employees should not have to deal with this. Treat them better. Your loosing business. I have been hearing about this stores heat for years…..

Terrible JCPenneys. Only one dressing room. Totally ridiculous to stand in line for dressing rooms when the store has plenty but refuses to open them. Covid is over!!! Trashy, trashy store. Not clean at all. Never check out upstairs because they always say the coupons don’t work. If you go downstairs they work. Go figure!

Are you that cheap that you can't cut the a/c on. It is absurd how hot it is in there, way to hot to even try on clothes. I honestly feel bad for your employees having to work in a sauna. I don't know how they do it. It had to be at least 95 in there. It's absolutely ridiculous!!

Men fitting was closed. My son needed to try on pants.So we walked around store looking for fitting room. Found one but! Angel stop us and told us we needed to go to men department. We told her it was closed. Angel was rude, unprofessional. Why? Was men fitting room close. Angel should never argue with customers. Call Manger.
