About Lubbock Memorial Arboretum
The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum is a hidden gem and a peaceful escape. It is a beautiful and tranquil place with well-maintained pathways and grass. The winding paths go through a diverse collection of plants, trees, and flowers, which changes with each season. It is a wonderful place for a stress-free walk, to play on the grass, or to walk dogs. It is also a great place for community events. Many visitors enjoy it as a memorable family tradition, especially for the Halloween and Pumpkin Trail in October, which is a nice thing to do in the evening. It is a wonderful place to explore, offering a refreshing and rejuvenating experience for everyone.

I love exploring the arboretum with my two toddlers. I feel like we’re in the secret garden. I’ve never been in spring so I haven’t seen it with green grass and blooming flowers but even in fall and winter it’s wonderful with its winding path and various trees and other plants.

Every year for Halloween and pumpkin patch trail we spend it here.. memorable one for this is the reason my kid was out that midnight after walking in the trail. Love it.

Great place to go for a stress free walk and the grass is always so well taken care of it's nice to walk in. Plus when it is in bloom with flowers or when they have events it is definitely a place to go and visit.
