The VA healthcare system's inadequacies have unfortunately become glaringly evident in my recent experiences. Despite seeking help for a wrist injury, I've been shuffled around with no real concern or effective treatment. From being sent to urgent care for a basic assessment to my primary care provider's dismissive attitude, the lack of attention to my medical needs has been disheartening. After waiting weeks for an orthopedic appointment, I was met with further disappointment when the physical therapist couldn't even provide a suitable brace or proper diagnosis. Instead of addressing my concerns, I'm bombarded with irrelevant inquiries about physical therapy, adding to my frustration and confusion. Moreover, during a follow-up regarding a potential health issue detected in a lung x-ray, the focus shifted abruptly to my weight, completely overshadowing the urgent matter at hand—a possible mass in my breast. The insensitivity displayed towards my health priorities is deeply troubling and speaks volumes about the misplaced priorities within the system.Additionally, my concerns about hearing loss were brushed aside during a rushed appointment, where I was simply told I was having a "bad hearing day," leaving me feeling disregarded and unheard. In summary, the lack of compassion, efficiency, and prioritization of patient needs within the VA healthcare system is disheartening and unacceptable. As a veteran, I deserve better, and I urge immediate action to address these systemic failures before more individuals suffer needlessly.

Foxtrot team has to be the worse. Can't even do a nurse visit. Sat in lobby for 1 hour after check in and NO ONE came to get me. I asked at check in window and was told they are coming now. Another 15 min goes by and nothing. Then charted that I cancelled. Why don't they annotate...never went to get the patient.

Very nice place to go to if you are a veteran.

Customer service is outstanding! Everyone is so friendly and always eager to help. From the moment I walk in, only 5 seconds goes by before someone asks what I need. This facility clearly cares for their veterans!

The sheer dumbassery is unbelievable. They scheduled an 0800 appointment, then allowed no one in the clinic until 0801! Then the check-in clerk asks why you are late to check in for your appointment! They take government idiocy to new levels! Also almost impossible to get anyone to answer a phone, or an appointment.

Long waits for appointments to be scheduled or referrals to be made. When you arrive for an appointment the doctors almost always make you wait a while and then rush you through your appointment. Anyone who believes in government healthcare should be required to be a patient here to dissuade you of that notion.

Much better than the previous building, but staff has not been very helpful unfortunately, and they do not care about veterans, I have had more poor experiences here than I have had good ones. I really wish I was in a better mind set to do more for our veterans because obviously many of these people here don't do it.

2019, I have always had a good to exceptional service at this location, and my next appointment is at the new building in June. I have gone in as a walk-in and scheduled appointments. It has always been a good experience. Thank you all.I was a transfer from the Albuquerque VA system since I moved closer to Amarillo. 2023, My experience has been given the best eye and foot doctors in the business, in my opinion. Next, visit a CT scan in April.

I love the new facility. I have never had any issues with my care here. Every person or doctor I have interacted with has been kind and helpful. Sometimes appointments take longer to get into than I would like, but it hasn’t been a massive or consistent issue. Overall, I have received great care. I’m thankful for the resources and support they provided me with.

I have been going to the VA Clinic for over 20 years and I have always received great care. They are truly a blessing and they go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of as well as treated with respect and dignity. I am proud to have served my Country and am very blessed that my Country now takes care of all my medical needs.

Tried again. Different people. Still horrible. “Lost” my paperwork. Absolute shame this is the best we have. I can’t come up with a statement or insult low enough for these guys and the care they give without cussing so…..…..on the bright side, the “quality” care provide really keeps the waiting rooms open and lines short.

Rick is the best mental health worker at the VA Ever! He is a blessing to me and my family. He is priceless. I'm so blessed to have him as my Dr.

The VA is a joke. They don’t help veterans. It’s all a government lie. Don’t trust them with anything.

Awful. All the worst parts of army medicine can be found alive and well here.

New to the area and so far my dealings with the dental department have been good. They referred me out to have a root canal checked. That process was easy peasy, they asked what days and times would be best before they even made the referral. Communication has been great and so far everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly and professional. Will be seeing my primary care provider later this month and if they’re like the dental department it’ll be great.
