It's no Joann's, and they have stuff at Michael's that you can buy from Ollie's for a better value. It's clean, though, and the staff isn't nosey, so 3 stars.

Shop at any other craft store you can find in town. Not only is the customer service scarce, they're not helpful when you find one.
Pro Tip: Avoid the self-checkout option. You need a customer service agent for almost any item. Womp womp.

I usually always choose hobby lobby because every time I have ever come to michael’s they never have what I am looking for or what they have is cheaper at hobby lobby. Or their isles are empty. For this instance it was a Sunday and I looked up the time the store closed before going. Google said 10-10pm for sunday, I was really surprised. Then I get there and the door wouldn’t open, other people also looked confused that it’s 6:50 pm and the doors aren’t opening so on the door it says 7pm, ok I was 10 minutes early, a couple customers went in the out which was still opening and then got turned away, I’m sorry but in fast food or any other retail store you normally get in trouble for closing your doors 10 minutes early. And that’s just one more reason I won’t come here. I saw 10 customers get turned away along with me so you lost 10 potentials for making money in the last 10 minutes to be open good job!

I was wanting to take advantage of a sale on canvas, buy so many get so many thing. I failed to read the fine print and someone called Cat was very friendly and helpful. She even ran to the back of the store twice to help me fix my error. I so appreciated it and thought the whole experience was lovely. Thanks Cat!
