Yesterday was my first visit to P.E.T.S. and it couldn't have gone any better! I always heard how difficult it is to get it, and with such exceptional people and service, I can see why, however, that was not the case for me. I sent an email about TNR for a colony of cats. I got a very quick response and was put on the schedule. The staff was so helpful from loading and unloading the kitties to answering every question I had. I received updates via text and kitties did so well. I so appreciate their service and staff. Oh, one thing for you new customers, entrance is through the back of the building 😉! Thank you!

Some staff is amazing and some not. The services are appreciated, but not at the expense of being publicly ridiculed for asking questions to determine if I should come back another time. I didn’t demand anything of anyone and was told by the receptionist to advise staff of the time crunch (very sweet of her) and about the time I thought I would need to leave to get my daughter to work on time, I was publicly belittled and told I’m always a problem by the manager, when I have only asked if vaccine info was arriving to their office on time as I feared double vaccinating, a practice the medical profession falsely thinks is fine. And when I had access to a pup on the schedule to neuter and my daughter accidentally cancelled causing us to wait in line another month. When I asked hours later if it was too late to confirm after cancelling and was told yes. I accepted the info, so where they got that I’m always rushing them is simply unfair and unprofessional to state so across the venue with threats to ban me. I always donate and do extra for city strays along with my own pups. My interest is in the health of the dogs! Please consider treating people with respect. Again kudos to the woman that respectfully de-escalated and to the sweet receptionist. My mother demanded I take her dog today and I should have taken my daughter to work early instead of creating a time crunch. I know for next time! But when it gets too much and I ask you to simply stop scolding me to the staff, citing proof of error of need to ridicule, consider a reset. Speaking to myself as well as escalations take all parties, but today was terrible at PETS with 2 staff and wonderful with 2 others. I’m taking my lessons and resetting for next time.

Most affordable vaccinations I’ve heard of and was only there MAYBE 30 minutes from the time of parking to leaving. Everyone I interacted with was super helpful and friendly, I will definitely be going back in the future! 🙌🏻

It was my first time, my dog Prints got in and out very quickly the staff was very nice and answered any questions. Also the pricing was great and the waiting area was very clean as well. Will definitely be going back for any vaccinations and highly recommend.

They are disrespectful and they only interested in money. Strung me along with something time sensitive tumor on mouth charge me for a biopsy and didn't order a full one and just a simple one they called it after they had already strung along 2 months with antibiotics and pain pills which new vet told me ain't gonna help type of tumor and they told me after biopsy got back and Dr was supposedly moving to a new location and pregnant so results for my baby which couldn't be cancer and deadly didn't matter. Finally I called 2 weeks and asked them if they were in and they said she was going to new location so I left emergency call for her to return it and tell me if she knew anything. Got no response so 4 days after I called again now they referred me to new location. Well she said bad news apologies for long response results were 4 days after 5/1/24 and it 5/16/24 only says he has 6 months and I just about died cause he's all I have no friends or family and on disability and trying to recover from being in hospital and almost died from Covid and I have lupus and I am still recuperating and very ill. Says gonna refer me to a at original place she uses to be in to a Dr appointment so he could examine him and give me a few options cause they don't know if it might have spread and or needs oncologist etc. Well I ignored at appointment don't know who Dr is cause he never examine him and he sent some kid to take a picture and give me only option they chose to give me one was cost for current visit I was told would be 69. and after he examine him would go over results and give me all the options. At this point I am sick and worried about my baby so was pressured to let them start chemo cause they said cost for current visit on there 185. they charged me and Dr never did anything or tell me what results were thoroughly and I couldn't even ask questions . So I let them keep him since I knew I would get some medicine for him at least til I get another opinon. New vet OMG went over everything with me so much information about it and told me that antibiotics and chemo useless for the the type of tumor plus I needed to find someone to baby sit him and needed to vaccinated they said yes and quoted me 140. OMG new vet immediately said not safe cause with this tumor and they had already done first chemo he could have a major bad reaction to vaccine. Probably would have killed him immediately. So they literally disrespected me and my baby was obviously not taken care of right. Charged me for treatment and medication 600. Not including new 1100. Chemo which was. Divided every other week and luckily I went to get second opinionThey don't care about our babies only a job for to make money.

I have nothing but raves about this center. I accidentally took my baby in a day early and they took him in anyways and took the best care of him. Although they are extremely busy with all the animals they take care of there. They even let me know if I have anything else I need with other strays I have around house they would take care with them as well. All staff was the greatest and very sweet and caring. I would always take my babies their now matter they are strays or your own. I wouldn’t take my babies anywhere else now. I have never received such caring and compassion from a regular vet office here in town!!! Thank you to all the staff

Had to take an older female bully and get her fixed,personally myself I don't believe any dog deserves that fate. Now I understand that sometimes it can not be helped. Our dog was bleeding excessively during her in-heat times. I will say it hurts me more just looking at her when we brought her home. The vet's and their assistants did a terrific job. They made us watch a video explaining what to be on the look-out in case these canines needed to go back to the vet. Excellent job P.E.T.S. Clinic of Lubbock. I recommend giving these guys a look when our canines are suffering. They handle our pets as they were their own children if you know what I mean!
