I have been really hesitant for years to get my hair layered again after I had trusted a lady to do it and she did choppy layers. I went to sophisticuts and asked who could do long layers they right away pointed me to Jennifer chavez. She did amazing! My layers are flowy! They all blend in very well together and she made my hair sooooo soft! Her personality was so friendly and welcoming. She held a very good conversation and was very professional and polite the whole time! She didn’t make me feel pressured into something that I didn’t want.I definitely recommend her.Services: Haircut

Lisa Gonzales is an excellent hairdresser. I have used Lisa for 17 years. Lisa is professional, knowledgeable and very creative when it comes to hair coloring. I highly recommend Lisa! I have been a customer of Lisa Gonzales for 10+ years and am always happy with my hair!! She always does exactly what I am asking for my cut and color are always perfect! She has started a new online system to book appointments, and although there have been some glitches she and the receptionist are always quick to respond and address any issues. Lisa is easy to talk to and my visits with her are always enjoyable!

I've been coming with Lisa for 15 plus years. I've followed her wherever she goes. If something comes up because you know life happens she does her best to accommodate your needs. Mind you yes, I've waited passed my appointment time from time to time but this a hair salon and sometimes you go over the time just like a doctor's office. She's also been cutting my kids hair for 11 plus years and never fails me. Even when my kids keep asking her for a Edger haircut. As for Liz, her assistant, she helps communicate between Lisa and the client. She greets us every time we walk in and conversates with us when we wait for Lisa when she is not busy. I'll finish off by saying, Lisa cares for her clients, on her day off she went to my late father's therapy hospital to give him a haircut and before his passing she went above and beyond for him when he was scheduled for a haircut.Services: Hair coloring

Made an appointment for an All over color (1 color process) and a trim. Quoted 1 price over the phone, 15 minutes before my appointment received a call to tell me the hairdresser (Jessica)with less than 3 years experience charges $100 more than quoted price. At least $175 starting for a 1 color process is ridiculous!!! Do not go to this salon, you will be price gouged!!!!

Stay away! Don’t waste your time! This place is outrageously unprofessional. The receptionist seems to enjoy messing with people. Tried FOUR times to get an appointment with Lisa Gonzales.FIRST time-Lisa cancelled my appointment but I wasn’t told I was cancelled until I came in for my appt! The receptionist said it was my fault because I didn’t leave an email, although I was repeatedly getting reminders for my appointment via text message. Weird! So I made another appointment through the receptionist.SECOND time-I came in the same receptionist told me that Lisa had put another person in my time slot because according to the receptionist, she “doesn’t have Lisa’s appointment book” but she assured me that I could make another appointment through her. So I stupidly did.THIRD time-I came in for my appointment this same receptionist went on and on about how her husband was in a motorcycle accident and that’s why she forgot to tell Lisa about my appointment. No apologies, no nothing. So I went home and made an appointment via Lisa’s online appointment site.FOURTH time-I came in for my appointment, this same receptionist didn’t greet me or acknowledge my presence so I said I had an appointment with Lisa. She told me that she’d alert Lisa and left the receptionist desk to do so. My appointment was at 3 so at 3:30 I asked the receptionist when Lisa was going to be available. She got up once again and came back and assured me that Lisa was “finishing up”. It’s now 4 and I asked if I could go back and see Lisa myself. “Nope, but you can reach her on her online site” I waited until 4:20 and left. Lisa never emerged. I had a few choice words as I left.As I was driving home, Lisa called me two times wanting to know “what happened” and promised to “get to the bottom of this”. Lmao…seriously!I tried to reach her for four weeks but she never responded.I’m sure there are some good stylists here but this place doesn’t deserve anyone’s business. Very poorly managed and I also witnessed the receptionist laughing at and mocking a walk-in who promptly left. After the lady left this receptionist smack talked her in the most immature, vile way. It’s mind blowing that Sophisticates employs such a rude receptionist. How do you stay in business?*pro tip*-be sure to get the information for the complaints hotline hanging on the wall….you’re going to need it!

Hayley was awesome. I had the best haircut I've ever had. Call and make an appointment with her. Gracie did my eyebrows. She also is awesome. She did a great job. Great Salon.

POOR MANAGEMENT!!!’This review is based on the salon not my stylist.You cannot have a salon with the thermostat set at 76 degrees when you have hair dryers and blow dryers in use.Sitting under the dryer for any period of time when a salon is already extremely heated is a reflection of poor management.Turn the temperature down. Clients should be able to enjoy their time in the salon, not worry that they may leave with yeast exhaustion.

I had never been to this stylist before. I was Leary at first she made me feel comfortable and was sweet. I however will never go back as the cut was horrible and the color was just as bad. Sorry, very sad
