We went in to buy a tire and tube. The man behind the counter asked "how can I help you?" And when I told him what I needed, another customer walked up and he decided to help her. That was very unprofessional. We have tried that store a few times and every time, we received bad service and rude employees. We will never go back!

Just picked up my new Trek. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff. They took the time to talk about what I wanted, and gave solid recommendations. They let me test ride a few bikes before I decided on the one for me. Great service, and pricing was spot on.

Not very helpful. Instead I got the distinctive feeling they assumed us to be thieves instead of Christmas shopping... bought my Trek there...was gonna buy a tires and drive train. Hope next time is different.

Stopped in on a Thursday. Asked for a new tire and tube. 2 people found the items. Asked when they can have then mounted and was told the next day. Friday. Told they I would get on Saturday and give them an extra day if needed. I was sick and didn't go on Saturday and thought they would be closed on Sunday so went on Monday to find out they were closed on Monday. I arrived after noon time and told the wheels weren't ready and the guy said eworks on them on that day. I told him they said it would be last Friday. No apologies and just dismissed me. So, took my wheels to fix myself after all. No trust with them and let others beware.

Misogynistic. Rep 1 didn’t know what a thru axel was and proceeded to mansplain what he believed I meant I needed. A QR skewer. lolRep 2 did however unintentionally confirm that what I was looking for was a thru axel in front of Rep 1.OverallReally bad customer service…like really bad.

I have done business with this shop before, overall satisfied b/c of the owner....however, suggesting that the reason why a tire guard/bumber was slightly bent by a sales associate because "I probably dropped it while demoing," is not at all appropriate, especially since there was zero evidence.For some d*** reason, I kept my mouth shut, I really wanted to make a big scene. Who does this guy think he is??

Just bought my 3rd bike from them. Technically the first two were from DFC cycles on Indiana, but they are the same owner. They are patient, provide excellent after the sale service, and when I had an issue they bent over backwards to fix it for me.

Stopped by the store because it seems to have a large selection of good bikes on the website. When we first stepped in, we heard “how can I help you?” We thought this could be a nice or at least regular bike shop. Then the same guy who asked “how may I help you?” (Could be the owner or manager) showed his incredibly incompetent people skill by being rude and arrogant. He was NOT helpful but rude and made the whole conversation very humiliating for two people who didn’t know much about bikes and simply wanted to learn more and pick a nice comfortable bike as beginners. We could’ve gotten the bike despite the price because the bike felt comfortable. But this guy that asked “how may I help you?” just shocked us by being completely rude and humiliating. Reading the reviews before, there seems to be a pattern of “rude and unprofessional” going on. Just bare in mind: most people who have bad experiences don’t care to leave a review (from my years of research and teaching at Tech). So we would never go back to that store. Bike business is also people business. Being nice is not that difficult to do but can make a huge difference for those who are not familiar with the products. We tend to be loyal customers and care about local small business in Lubbock. But we also care about the feelings of Lubbock customers. So please read this review carefully before going there. It may not be worth it at all. One thing for sure: this will be a classic example of what NOT to do in customer service in my intro classes.

Stopped in to check out their selection of bikes, apparel, grips, etc. Extremely rude bicycle shop and completely unprofessional. Will not be having my bicycle serviced here of DFC Cycles, being that they’re the same company!
