Got my hair done with Lisa who is a designer at the salon! She did great and left my hair exactly how I wanted it. ❤️❤️ I got a full hair color and trim for only $95!! At other salons I’m usually looking at $135.

I’ve been to several salons in Lubbock, and it has been a ride to find the right one! When I booked with JCPENNEY everything was easy and felt good. The stylist knew what she was doing, she was also was very knowledgeable. She even broke it down and explained how she was styling my hair so I could do it myself at home!!! The price was reasonable they even gave me options of different stylists, pricing, and skill level. It took me a while, but I finally found my salon home with the girls at JCPenney Lubbock!!!…. I highly recommend!!

Don’t use this place unless you have all day and like being 100% ignored. I scheduled an appointment at 12pm for color and add on hair cut with any available stylist), my husband scheduled 12:15pm haircut….after checking in prior to 12pm he was given his hair cut, many people before and after me were taken back or contacted by their stylist to let them know it would be a few minutes. Well at 12:32pm I have no contact from the stylist Summer and still sitting so I left. THEN they accuse me of just being “upset” to my husband as he paid. I looked at my appointment time to see if I could cancel with the reason being they didn’t show up…..my appointment was completely canceled AND rescheduled (not by me) to 2pm with no notification of this change….why? So they can say I no showed…no thanks. At this point it’s too soon for me to cancel or reschedule according to their policy (the irony, am I right?) Save your time….I’d say save your money, but Summer didn’t let me get to that part.

There where 3 stylist just standing around when I got to my appointment. They told me the lady that was supposed to cut my hair didn't show up but someone else was about to be there. I waited they never showed either. Mean while there are 3 stylist just standing there not doing anything. Honestly you can get better service at great clips. When I left 40 minutes after my appointment was supposed to be they never said anything. No apologies or anything. There where 2 stylist that I know were free. A third was free when he finished a cut. All inwas getting was a cut. They could have gotten me finished in the time i was in there just sitting. Never recieved any service. I can't believe this salon is still in service. Thats probably why it was empty.

Took my daughter to get her hair thinned out and a simple trim. Maddie was the stylist. When she was done (about 10 minutes later) she sent my daughter out of the salon. I sent her back in because it looked like nothing had been done, her hair was even dry when I specifically told them when scheduling that I wanted a wash before the cut. She came out with her hair still dry and a chunk of her hair missing in the back.

We had an 11a appointment this morning for my 5 year old daughter to get her haircut before she starts kindergarten. We received a text from the stylist at 10:45a, when we were already on our way to the store, saying she was running late and wouldn’t be available until 12:15p. If she was running more than an hour late, she knew that LONG before 10:45a. I had to arrange my work schedule to make the 11a appointment and now I’m supposed to wait another 75 minutes and hope she’s actually on time then? The lack of respect for someone else’s time and schedule is not cool at all. Our one previous experience at the salon was a good one, but it only takes one bad experience to lose a customer and that’s what happened here.

I haven't been pampered in a while so on Mother's Day I decided to pamper myself with a wash haircut and style.
I told the young lady cutting my hair that I wanted about shoulder length and to please thin my hair and take some of the bulk out. She cut it but never took the bulk out and the way she styled it made me so embarrassed to walk out. I ended up just putting my hair up. I have very curly hair and asked her to straighten it and all she did was blow dry it straight it was still very curly towards my roots. I left so disappointed. They also seemed to care more about what guy called them and where they went and drank then asking if I liked the cut. Will never come here again.

My daughter was here from out of town and scheduled an appointment for a cut and color and arrived 15 minutes before appointment and was told that she was doing someone else’s hair that was taking a lot longer than she thought and it was going to take her at least two more hours and wouldn’t be able to do my daughter’s hair and asked if she could come back tomorrow, which no she is going back home tomorrow and we had driven from Levelland specifically for that purpose. There was no phone call before we arrived that she was no longer going to be able to do my daughter’s hair. Very unprofessional and will never use JCPenny Salon again.

They have no business cutting men’s hair. I spent 30 minutes in the chair to leave with my hair completely uneven. The fade is not a fade it steps. Three spots on the top of my head were cut, leaving three spots shorter than the rest. I have to go to a real barber tomorrow to have this disaster fixed. Don’t waste your time or money here.
