Shop owner should retire or hire someone else to run the register (at least). TLDR: If you pay with cash, ensure you receive the correct change (and your discount for paying with cash). Upon entering the shop owner was already upset she had to abandon her smoke break early for us (her customers, mind you). She asked what brought us in and my sister replied something to the extent of, "Oh, we haven't been here in years so we were excited to see what was available." The shop owner smiled and seemed to be fine with attending the other people who also had just entered the shop. After perusing the antiques, we were ready to check out and I noticed a sign saying not only that they charge a fee for using anything other than cash (debit AND credit) but also a discount for paying with cash. We patiently waited as she rang up our items and she would make remarks like, "Wow! I haven't seen this before! This is neat!" and "Now how much was this?" You're telling me you don't know your own store's inventory or pricing? I was honest and told her how much a few things were marked under certain sections of the store, but come on... Once she finally tallied everything onto the handwritten paper receipt, I mentioned the discount to her and she seemed confused. I held up the sign she had on her counter that mentioned the policy on fees AND the cash discount and she reluctantly accepted she was wrong. I asked if she could break a large bill so I could take advantage of the cash discount and she said yes. Once she starts counting back my change I tell her that I still need the full amount back and she stares at me confused. I tell her how much I gave her and how much I was supposed to get back and held out the money without putting any away or making it look like I was trying to trick her. My sister and friend looked at me astonished; we each had tried different ways of explaining her error and how to correctly count back the change. Eventually, I got my correct change and warned the customers in line that they need to be vigilant with how much she's charging them. As we walked out the door, she proceeded to make a rude remark about how "excited" we were to shop there. Always great to mock your customers, right? If this woman is not the shop owner, she has too much responsibility for an employee. If she is the owner, I am genuinely concerned for her as she's clearly not healthy enough to run a register, much less a whole "Mall." I won't return and I bet she'd be happy with knowing that.

We had just bought a new house and wanted to add some classic touches. A signed Tiffany hanging lamp was just the ticket. So many new things each time we go back.

Fun antique mall with a wide variety of items. Love their large jewelry collection! They also have glassware, furniture, vintage clothing, knives and much more. Be sure to see the half price back room. Sharing a pic of some of the mid century modern glass they had available.

Dishonest, greedy people. Donated heavily to Critical Race Theory.
