“Visited here yesterday for United baptist seminars on various topics for reaching out to others and really learned a lot and enjoyed it. Speakers came from various other baptist churches from houston, woodlands, local, etc. I went to the youth session and wow just very good reaching out training. Very interesting was the AI stuff which to me I thought would be way over my head, probably not of God etc but was really good, amazing and good to use in right ways. Anyway it all was eye opening and good for the soul!”

“Where do I begin? Yesterday while out with my daughter whom recently moved to Lufkin we met two sweet ladies Rev. Rodgers and Ms.Jolene. After a sweet conversation with those two gems my daughter's and I were invited to visit Goodwill Baptist Church. I have to say I enjoyed the service and it brought back memories of going to church with my Granny as kid. Bishop Lyons preached a word today! I wish I didn't live 4 hours away because I'd definitely make Goodwill Baptist my new church home. I will be back to visit that's one thing that's for sure. Thank you all for being so hospitable to me, and my daughter's. Thank you again Rev.Rodgers for inviting us to visit. Thank you again Bishop Lyons for the much needed word this morning.
