About 15 years ago Excel was THE best place to get a car wash, the new owners have destroyed everything that made them great, just went by their facility off Tulane neither machine works for credit debit cards, no attendants to help, not fixing machines.

Here’s the reason Excel is the best (I’ve tried them all): they have 1-2 people soaping up your car before you go in the wash, and they don’t just throw a little soap on the windshield. They THOROUGHLY soap with their brushes the front, back, sides, lower trim where mud builds up, etc. I believe this is why I get superior results at this car wash when nearly all others I’ve tried miss spots, even when going regularly.
To top this, they have a complete collection of complimentary cleaning supplies including armor all, fragrance, tire wet, and glass cleaner. Also free vacuums, towels, air blowers, and floor mat cleaners.
A monthly subscription is well worth it!

Great place. They have machines to clean your car mats (far end of the vacuum area) as well as cleaning cloths, cleaning sprays and interior scents.
