Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter is a clean and kept shelter with a professional staff that is kind and courteous. The employees and volunteers are awesome and work hard to take good care of the animals. They are always finding homes, rescues, or fosters to save as many lives as possible. The shelter has a good selection of animals for adoption. It is important to note that this is a kill shelter. They operate with limited capacity, so for services like surrendering an animal, it is advised to arrive very early as available spots fill quickly. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 12 to 5 pm.

First, this IS a KILL shelter, just so you know. My experience there was the staff was ok, professional but nothing to write home about. The place looked good, as a shelter should. And they have selections.
