Sound Tech of Lufkin is very disrespectful to black customers. Employees do not have work etiquette with a very young manager that really not very experienced of work hospitality... however, very knowledgeable of inventory.... I felt very disrespectful...

Came in before Christmas to get some guitar strings and accessories for my boys and the staff were super helpful and friendly. They also install home generator systems, which intrigued my husband and I. With all the power outages we get living in the woods, these systems sound amazing! And the guys answered all our questions.

How do you put into words when someone is overtly belligerent and uncooperative…someone who was hired to help make a bride and groom’s day special? I guess you call it a bride and groom’s worst nightmare. Consider this your warning to avoid Paragon Sound and Lighting.

Very unfortunate experience for my best friend’s wedding. The DJ was uncooperative and spiteful with the coordinator, the bride’s parents, myself, and other wedding party members. He left long awkward silences of no music throughout the ceremony and reception both, played profanity when specifically asked not to, would not change the music type to get the crowd dancing when requested by the bride, skipped over toasts, turned the volume louder in defiance when the dad asked him to turn it down, and so much more. He was clearly very frustrated with all of us which I get because at least 5 people 5 different times (in addition to the coordinator!!!) went up to him asking him to please play what the bride wanted but if he would’ve just been cooperative with the coordinator the first time no one else would’ve had to bug him repeatedly. Overall astonishing to see a wedding professional behave in this manner and sacrifice such a sweet persons special day.

This DJ didn’t stay the whole wedding. Didn’t play songs that the bride wished for and made a list of.. he was disrespectful to the adults at the wedding when asked to turn down the music he actually turned it up on purpose. The songs he played were more for clubs and not wedding songs. You couldn’t even dance because he played 5 seconds of each song. Very disappointed!

I would not book with Paragon Sound and Light. He was booked for my best friends wedding and not only was he rude to everyone, he also did a terrible job as a DJ. For instance, he announced cutting the cake at the wrong time, skipped toast and games, and did not respect the wedding coordinator when she gave the DJ requests to play different songs. I’m very disappointed in this kind of behavior from a supposedly “5 star” DJ service. Don’t book with him.

I am absolutely disgusted with the service of this company. The intentional disrespect and ignorance of the person that was hired for a wedding I attended disappointed me terribly. The bride was so upset and worried that the wedding was ruined all because of this company. I would not recommend them to anyone that wants to be respected and have a good time.
