Walked in and I walked to middle table to fill out form, then I got in line. I stood off from counter about 2 paces to allow privacy of others. I hear a low volume noise and then 2 seconds later I hear a lady aggressively yell “I said I can help you here”. I walked up to a teller named Racheal, and I southernly apologized “sorry I heard a soft noise but could not discern that you were speaking to me”. She said nothing and didn’t look up from her desk. I handed her the form and my debit card. She did not look up at me or say anything. She looked over the form and then said “give me your license too” in an seemingly aggressive manner, still having not looked up at nor me or my wife. At that point a teller Natalia from the desk to her right came and stood behind her and began to assist her with transaction. From that point on Racheal seemed respectful. Didn’t really understand the initial rudeness, and this is only my second time at this location. First visit I was helped and had no issues.

Tried to get my car refinance and the loan officer told me my car isn’t worth the value I bought it for but I went to ETPCU and I got a 2.3 interest rate with no problem.

One if the bank employees, Natalia, helped us tremendously in navigating a difficult transaction with another credit union. Her patience and professionalism were very much appreciated.

2 days before Christmas we lost everything including our car in a house fire. The employees of Southland scrambled to get us new cards, put our current loans on hold so no money would be withdrawn and reset all our login info for our accounts. When we couldn't secure housing they assisted with a signature loan so we could purchase a tiny house. They worked really fast when we found a car we liked and had us driving off in it the same day. 3 weeks later when we got into an accident and totaled that car they worked diligently to help us secure financing for another car. If you haven't been there I suggest you go as fast as you can. They treat you like family and always go above and beyond.

Don't like info repeated through speaker..confidently issue..everything written on the paper no need to repeat it. Also don't like that they hold payroll checks and my other bank only waits two days to clear regardless. I've been banking here ten years same employer looking to change because of this issue.

Disgusting display of customer service. I have been trying to get the title for my car for 4 months. I have left numerous messages and have gotten no call back. Take your money elsewhere.

I really appreciate this bank. They are very helpful and understanding and they are willing to work with you on any problem you may have. Caycee in particular and Ms. Kathy are always there to lend a helping hand and Britney is also a godsend. The only thing I don't like is them saying what business you want to transact through the loudspeaker at the drive through. Sometimes it is so loud that I feel others can hear and that makes me slightly uncomfortable.
