Originally took my car to local Chevy dealership to get my transmission checked out, and they came back two days later saying my transmission was shot and that there was metal shavings all in the fluids. The dealership wanted to charge me $7,500 for a new one so I decided to take it to USA Transmission to get a second opinion. After a day of having it they found out that my car was 2 quarts low on fluids and that there was no noticeable signs that the dealership had checked my fluids/transmission to begin with. Just to be sure that everything was correct USA Transmission did a complete full service on my transmission, and after refilling all of the fluids and replacing the filter, which had zero metal shaving in it, my car runs like a dream.In the end USA Transmission could've easily tried to sell me a new transmission/rebuild for a cheaper price knowing that I already had it diagnosed by the dealership, and I wouldn't have know any better. Instead they were honest in their diagnoses, which saved my thousands of dollars and a lot of headaches. So, in my opinion USA Transmission is one of the few honest mechanics left, and I will continue giving them my business in the future.

Had a great experience. Transmission went out in my car and they where able to diagnose the issue and change the transmission in a few days. Everyone else in town wanted me to rent a car for 2 or 3 weeks. The new owners are respectful and great to work with. Wish the old reviews of the old owners could be removed, because they do not reflect the new management.

USA Transmissions was very helpful when one of my vehicles broke down nearby. They diagnosed the issue and provided me with a quote and repair timeline very promptly, and they did not charge me. While I ultimately decided to have the vehicle towed back to my home state for repairs, I would have been unable to make an informed decision on how to proceed without their help.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I’ve waited a year to see how everything went after going and visiting Andy at USA transmission. I carried one of my fleet trucks in a year ago, a lot of places would have seen me as dollar signs but Andy recognize the problem has been a junk part that Chevy puts on their trucks that makes it overheat. For a reasonable investment I was back on the road within a day. A year later I have no problems with my transmission. We sat and got to know one another by sharing our testimonies and that experience is something I’ll always remember.

BEWARE! I could fill a page here with this transmission shop. I would like to warn everyone who goes there to be vary wary. A job that was quoted $3500-$4000, more like $3500, he told me on the phone, ended up costing almost $4900. When confronted him prior to paying, he started saying things that just were not true. Did not take ownership of the problem at all. Make sure to get a detailed hourly quote and of all work to be done. When he calls to say he has to do something, get in writing what they are going to do and what the charge will be or you will not be happy when you get the final bill. He has on his bill, a statement about going to court...wonder why...now I know. I'm sure he will respond to this, but let me assure everyone. I wish I could put here exactly what transpired, but it is 2 pages long. He will say things that are not true, and the law protects him except for going to court and fighting for the overcharges. Which is what I have to do as he says he did nothing wrong.Service: Transmission
