“I had an issue with this bank but they fixed it in a few minutes. It's a good bank who don't mind saying that they were wrong. That's important for me.”

“There have been some new faces at the Woodforest GBC and they have all been a pleasure to assist me in my banking needs. The teller I get the most is Tracy Shaffner. She is very polite and has great customer service. She has helped me tremendously when I have questions about my account.”

“I am executor of an estate account which was opened at a Southside Bank branch in Tyler and usually conduct estate banking business at that branch but when I realized there was a branch in Gun Barrel City, which is much closer to my home, I was happy! From the moment I stepped in to the bank I was met with a friendly and helpful teller. I had a question about the estate account which she was not familiar with so she forwarded the question to her manager. There was a piece of documentation I needed that I didn’t bring with me so I headed to my car to go home to retrieve the document. As I was getting in my car I heard my name called - it was the manager coming to catch me to tell me she had found and pulled the document from the records and had the answer for my question. She invited me back to her office and completed the transaction for me. I was honestly shocked she had done this and appreciated it so much! This is small-town down-home banking that I didn’t think existed anymore! I am just sorry I didn’t get their names. I hope they know how much I truly appreciated them!”

“I resently made a bad review of Prosperty, I take it back, my fault, I didn't understand the rules for my new account. I'm old and easily irritated so I apologize.”

“I love this bank. They have free notary if you are a member and friendly staff. Truly free checking account. Drive through is very reasonably paced and convenient. The only thing I wish they would have that they don't is the ability to deposit money into your bank account through the ATM.”
