if you need a “built diesel transmission” absolutely do not come to Barton’s, I’m out 4500 dollars and I have no transmission. the one they built me was having problems from the start leaks, shits hard, weird noises etc… I decided I wanted my truck out of his shop after about 4 months of back and forth, I live an hour from his shop mind u. He ended up buying the trans for a little over half of what I paid thankfully, im still out 4k but extremely grateful to have my truck out of his shop if you want a built trans get a Randy’s or suncoast! For diesels at least

I took my car in for transmission problems and they couldn't find out what was wrong with it after $125.00 diagnostic fee. I was on a trip so I started home and 300 miles from Texas and 410 miles from Florida the transmission went out and I was stuck in Alexandria LA, with a vehicle that needed 11k worth of work. Let's just say they did not instill faith.

Hands down the best transmission shop I've ever dealt with. I brought them a truck that I needed to become a reliable towing rig, and they absolutely delivered. They rebuilt and beefed up both the transmission and the rear axle, and the work was top-tier—fast, clean, and built to last. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. Super happy with Barton's Transmission. They know what the are doing and use quality parts, (not the same GM parts that failed the first time.)
Barton rebuilt my Transmission in less than a week. They were able to clean and save the computer components and reinstall them, saving me another $700.
I've been driving the new Transmission for a month now with zero complaints. Thank you Barton...

I cannot say enough good things about Barton's. I was under a serious time crunch, and worried out of my gord as I learned that I needed a transmission rebuild for my house-pulling truck. Not only did they complete the job within a week, they blessed me with a custom build that breathed new life into my truck. Custom parts for long-term towing and performance has changed my travels! Plus a 30k mile warranty honored by a nationwide network... this has put my mind at ease as I travel the united states. I went from owning a vehicle that gave me anxiety, to owning a vehicle that gives me confidence with every press of tha gas pedal. All for a very reasonable price. I will never trust a transmission to anyone else ever again. Even if it means having a vehicle shipped across the country! It would be worth it!

I can't say enough good things about Barton's! We were travelling from Georgia to Dallas and our transmission went out in our Pathfinder near Canton. We ended up at Cole's Transmission who referred us to (and drove us to) Barton's where we had our Pathfinder towed. Instead of charging us for a new transmission, they checked with the area Nissan dealership to see if we were still covered by the extended warranty and found out we were. So they made arrangements for a tow to the Nissan dealership and only charged us for their diagnostics. We're not from this area, but would highly recommend Barton's. They have great customer service!

Heard about Barton's through a reliable friend who used them so I did some research and liked what I saw. So I called and spoke to Brittany who was very nice and helpful then had my car towed to their shop and they rebuilt the transmission I've had it for 2 weeks almost with no problems. I'm a happy customer ? Thanks Barron's for your fast and great work ? .......... It's been 11 months since my transmission was rebuilt still no problems still going strong and shifting smoothly

I was given a quote of $800 for a simple fix that they guaranteed to fix the problem. Few days go by and we had to call because it was pass due the date given. The man said that didn't fix the issue and it needed to be taken to car dealership. We talked about a price again and agreed to $430. The day I went in to pick up my still broke down vehicle after their guarantee with a new price of $430. This was the very next day that when I got there the total had gone up to $576 with nothing else being done since our talk the day before.
