Cashier was the rudest person I've known. She a a chip on her shoulder. Everyone has bad days I get it but when dealing with the public you need to know how to separate your anger and not take it out on customer's. They also had a sign in their garden section stating planter ect 50% off. Buy one and second at 50% off. I question her about it then told her the sign stated a sale she walked and read it stating not part of it. Then I told her ok then I really don't need it. That didn't set to well either. If I wanted people being rude and po'ed all the time I would still be married. I just read the post stating she wouldn't get off her phone and that was exactly what she was doing too so it's probably the same girl. Dollar General you need to rein her in because your loosing your customer base with that girl.

The lady would not get off her phone to ring my husband up. Had an attitude like he was an inconvenience. 🤨

Only giving two stars. One because I have to and the other because only two of your employees are nice. If they aren't working,I get treated rudely especially if I don't end up buying anything because I can't find what I need on that particular trip to the store. I shouldn't be made to feel that if I walk put without buying anything I'm stealing. Had an employee,I think he was a manager,great me when I came in a few weeks ago. I walked over to the chips aisle to see if y'all had my favorite bag of chips,which y'all didn't,I walked to the other end of the aisle towards the fridges then towards the drinks and such to see if y'all had my favorite drink mix,which again you didn't,and continued to walk around the store to see if y'all had anything else that I needed or wanted before I left so it wasn't a wasted trip. Y'all didn't have anything thing that I needed or anything that I wanted to purchase that was within my budget and I had looped back around to where the snacks were to see if I wanted any candy that y'all had on the shelves,which I didn't and I walked back towards the door down the chip aisle and the same employee/manager was watching me like I had stolen something and as I came closer to the door he stepped out from behind the registers towards me and very rudely asked if I found what I needed,basically customer servicing me,and I told him no I didn't and walked out. And now I feel like every time he's there I get customer serviced and watched. (For anyone who is wondering what I mean by customer servicing and customer serviced,it means that they suspect you of stealing so they constantly ask you if they can help you or if you need anything to let them know,etc. to try discouraging you from "stealing".) I'm not a thief!!

I had door dash order I ordered 3 candy bars and toilet paper. They changed me for 6 bags of toxic smelling candy. It down in the candy it self. This the second time I have ordered something from this store and its had that toxic chemical smell .

Been in there twice lately an its the same girl. 1st time she couldnt do a refund for an elderly lady bc she didnt know how. 2nd time she left us at the register to bag our own stuff why she went outside to do something on someones phone

Always shop at this store . Have excellent mangers and are always very presonable to everyone when they enter the store . Store is always clean and well stocked . Very easy in and out . Kudos to the Ladies that are in charge .?????

Was just at the store on main st in Gun Barrell cityThe lady working I believe her name was alexias there was a customer blaming this worker with everything under the sun. The customer even blamed the worker due to her card being declined. But Alexis remained calm and never raised her voice .Alexis deserved an award for dealing with this rude and mean personThanks to you alexias , I will continue coming to your store
