Transmission went out on our way to Galveston from Dallas. I used the Google machine and struck gold when I called Doug’s Wrecker Service!
Tracy arrived and was loading our car into his flatbed, and allowing us to continue to Galveston, in less than 30 minutes!
We were able to squeeze into another car of family members following us and made it on time to board the ship!
Very good price for the super fast tow but he also orchestrated a drop off with Cindy at C&D Automotive (who was also great) for repairs. Coordinated things on the backside with Cindy without me, so it was (pun intended) smooth sailing when we got back!
Definitely would not have made our cruise without Tracy since I obviously couldn’t leave our car on the highway shoulder by itself, but his quick arrival allowed us to get on our way knowing it was being handled. Then he went above and beyond by helping coordinate with Cindy / C&D Automotive.

I was driving up to Dallas from Houston and heard a noise I thought was my tire. I had called saying I’d be there a couple minutes till close and he was more than okay waiting (which again thank you so much!!!!)
Turns out it was my skid plate hanging on by a few bolts and a dream(not even a tire problem!) The gentlemen who helped me not only helped me get the plate into the back of my car, but still did a complementary fill up on my tires to help me feel way more comfortable to continue on my drive. And he wouldn’t even let me pay.

(her friend in Houston picked her up and drove her to her destination) The next morning, Ricky went to work right away and had a new alternator installed by early afternoon. “I can’t say enough goods things about this location. My sunroof shattered while I was driving from Dallas to Galveston. I happened to see this location and decided to stop to get their advice. Without hesitation they stepped in and helped. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn’t sure what to do and feel lucky that I made the decision to stop here.”
“I had a silverado with over 300k miles that started spewing oil from the rear main seal. I went to two other local shops over the course of a month and neither fully fixed it. I also discovered globs of red gasket maker smeared around the transmission housing. Within a few days oil would leak out and the truck would overheat again leaving me stranded and paying tow fees.
I found Lee’s Automotive on google and took a chance with a business i’d never patronized and luckily the third time was a charm. Not only did I get charged hundreds less than the other two businesses, the service was faster and I was kept updated on the trucks progress over the next three days. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and my work truck was finally back on the road. It has been six months and it still hasn’t started to give me any problems. “7 hours from home pulled in desperate for a odd size tire not only did they have it in stock but helped me jump start the machine I was hauling to adjust it on the trailer better got a new tire put on the trailer checked all my others as well in under an hour highly recommend.”
