If I could give a Zero Star ratting for my last interaction with this AT&T store in Magnolia, I would. I drove to the store to exchange a cable I purchased when I upgraded two phones and activated another at a different corporate AT&T store less than 15 days ago, still within the exchange period. When I arrived at the location I was not greeted at the door, but rather by three sales reps sitting at the table waiting on customers as the store was empty. The sales rep that did assist me was friendly and said she could help assist me with the exchange. After fully verifying my account, which I appreciated, the sales rep asked what kind of TV service I used and I told her I used a streaming service, as I’m sure she could see from my customer profile that I used AT&T 1GB fiber for my house but did not have the Direct TV stream service that AT&T offers. I appreciated the half hearted sales pitch without asking any qualifying questions about what I watch or how many TVs I have. Without any further sales pitch she continued to exchange my cable and at the end of the transaction she said it was a $10 difference, which is why I’m writing this long review. I ask politely why the difference was $10 and she explained that because I received a discount on the initial accessory with my three accessory bundle AT&T offers, that made the difference a full price difference and not the discount difference. I asked if she could return the accessory bundle and re-ring the accessory bundle with the new cable. She politely said she would physically need all three accessories in the store to return and re-ring the accessory bundle. I thanked her for her time and told her I would keep the cable and left. Let me explain first that I didn’t tell her that I retired from AT&T after 19 years and that I managed multiple AT&T stores throughout Texas. I didn’t tell her that I even managed that same store In Magnolia and was part of a #1 sales team in Texas for the year while I was at that same Magnolia store. I didn't ask to speak to a manager, I just left. The sales rep could have easily returned the accessory bundle which would have placed the skus in that stores inventory and re-rung them with the buy three discount, printed out a copy of the original receipt and stapled a copy of the new receipt and placed the returned accessory in what ever place they put returned accessories, or even have a manager discount the new accessory with the buy three discount. But that’s not what she did. She simply said I can’t do that, thanked me and said have a nice day. Maybe I’m just old fashioned and maybe she was just following procedure, but practices like this is not what led this same store to be #1 month over month. From a nonchalant greeting from sales reps sitting around to not actively trying to sell any services they can to every customer possible is possibly the reason AT&T has closed hundreds of stores nationwide and will continue to do so. I will continue to use AT&T for their service because honestly it works and I am happy with my fiber at home, most the time. I didn’t pay the $10 difference, not because $10 would break me, but because as a customer for over 20 years, I shouldn’t have to ask for a manager to assist me in a typical sales transaction. There should have been at least an assistant store manager on the floor listening into the transaction as I was the only customer in the store but there wasn’t, just employees sitting around waiting for the day to be over, getting paid their hourly rate and being happy with just that. Let me end by saying I will stay with AT&T because as I have mentioned, it works, but I will buy my accessories elsewhere and I might even buy my devices direct instead of through a brick and mortar retail store.

The AT&T representative that helped us, Lefty, was helpful and knowledgeable in addressing the issues that my wife and I came in with. Lefty was also quick and efficient, making our time in the store go very smoothly, and went above and beyond to offer further assistance to remedy issues with our account that we weren't even aware of.

Jacob was AWESOME! Yesterday I traveled from Stafford Texas, through Missouri city, through Houston, through, the Woodlands until I reached magnolia calling every AT&T store in those cities. Every store that I called was mean to me and hung up on me when they realized I desired to purchase an iPhone 15 pro max...EXCEPT the Woodlands representative and Jacob at the magnolia location. Once I entered into his store he immediately greeted me with a welcoming address and proceeded to be extremely pleasant and understanding of my needs. He was even able to upsell me into purchasing a screen protector and an Otter Box case. Jacob's customer service and hospitality was OUTSTANDING!!!

The three people working at this store are not friendly at all. If you are looking for kindness go to another store. They will barely make eye contact. Worst customer service.

Went in to have my phone upgraded to a dual sim. Jacob helped me and was very knowledgeable and polite. I was planning to be in there for nearly an hour but Jacob was done in about ten minutes!

We have not accomplished our goal yet. But it was not for lack of their trying. I am attempting to transfer my phone from T mobile to Att&t.. It seems it would be easier to get into Ft Knox than have a phone unblocked. They should not be allowed to block them in the first place after the phone is paid for. Just my opinion.

Talked to a guy named Joe, had a complicated back and forth order, but he handled all my questions and hesitations well. Joe provided good customer service and didn’t seem frustrated or aggravated at all and I left the store with an iPhone 14 pro max and a 6000 ma battery pack, case, screen protector, charger, you name it. Great job Joe, definitely got that sale for the store without any pressure or negative emotions involved. Thanks man thumps up!

Jacob has the best hands down customer service I’ve ever experienced. He is a kind soul and is truly dedicated to helping your wireless needs. I was having an issue with billing and he went above and beyond to make me happy, with that being said THANK YOU JACOB!!! You saved AT&T from loosing a customer. We need more people like Jacob. I had Ian help me with my upgrade to the new iPhone 14. He was extremely helpful and patient as we went through a couple of hurdles with the new eSIM transfer. If you visit this store highly recommend you ask for Ian to help you. He will get the job done!
