I know it's new year eve and I believe in the right to carry guns only when necessary. Today I seen a customer open carry. I at sat in my truck waiting for this guy to leave the store. In this present time, I don't feel safe seeing open carry.

Why 5 stars? Because there's very little I can think of to complain about here. --- --- ---For nearly the first couple of years after moving to the area, I elected to shop at Kroger because it was closer and it had everything I need. But I recently saw a nutritionist and really changed up my meal plan, and Kroger was not cutting it. I eventually caved and have made this my regular grocery store.Other than the fact that I literally have to drive past my old Kroger on my way here, H-E-B is better in every conceivable way. They have an infinitely larger produce department with all kinds of pre-cut up items, which is really helpful. And for the most part, they just have more of everything. The aesthetics are night and day compared to Kroger, and there are always plenty of check-out lanes open. The only advantage Kroger provides that H-E-B doesn't: fuel points. If H-E-B adds those, it's a wrap.Sorry it took me so long, H-E-B, but I am your latest convert.

I like H-E-B but I won't come back to this one. The cashier Kane never makes eye contact and doesn't greet anyone. This is the second time I have been in his lane and he never looks up nor says hello. He gives the total while looking away. In the back they give samples of different wines and things to try. They had an apple pie wine and fireball samples the other day that I though sounds interesting. I got the wine and was told to take a tiny bottle of fireball since I got the wine being advertised. Once I got to the front I put it on the belt as I don't want to take anything without paying. The manager came over because it wouldn't ring up and said he will go check where I got it from. I explained they gave it to me in the back and it might have been free but I wanted to pay if that was not the case so that was the reason for me putting it on the belt with the rest of my groceries. He said "No you can't just have them and you need to pay for it in a 6 or 10 pack." I explained again that I wasn't trying to take them or they wouldn't have been on the belt with the rest of my items and I wanted to pay for them. The people in the back were giving them out as I was purchasing a wine being advertised. He said "No! You can't have these. Sorry!" I will go to the H-E-B further down the road than come to this one again.

H-E-B upped their seafood game at this location. This Sunday their fish monger was carving up a fresh 75 pound yellowfin Tuna. They also had a fresh batch of live gulf blue crabs. I went for the tuna. That is not why I went to this location. I went in for BBQ (they have really good Q). I came out with two thick Tuna steaks. Fish department was sampling the tuna and was providing quick service for those who wanted some. Not cheap at $17 per pound but better than usual price for sashimi grade. Not the closest to my house but close enough to work that I frequent this location pretty often. It has some advantages over other locations with massive wine and beer department, great BBQ prepared daily inside, great meat and seafood and big vegetable and fruit department.

Seniors and families of seniors: My sister in law was shopping here with her mom, and her elderly mom bought a small pastry at the bakery and was tagged by the folks behind the counter. Her mom always insist on paying for her own groceries and when she is leaving, her daughter asked her what did you buy that was so expensive - she said a small pastry The daughter reviewed the receipt and finds that her elderly mother who is way too trusting was charged $65 go a 11" cake that she never bought - she bought a small pastry The manager corrected this, but this is unacceptable at an HEB, a brand we have always had regard for. So watch out and look at each item being charged and your old receipts of yours or your elderly family member This is not right at any time, but during a holiday like thanksgiving - really?

The Bar B Q restruant at this HEB really SUCKS. TO steal customers money they have started using tiny sandwich buns on top of the raised RIP OFF prices. I order a chopped beef sandwich, and it was full of huge wads of FAT. Probably 1/2 the sandwich was uneatable. This is not the first time either! I purchased my sandwich at 11:45 am where I was the ONLY one in line for the entire time it took them to make the sandwich... I can see why its popularity has slowed.. fatty meet on tiny buns.. NEVER AGAIN!

Absolutely horrible! My wife was misled by the inept bakery department for our son's 15th birthday with a cake that would "feed" 10 people. See the picture of what HEB "says" feeds 10 people based on "calorie" count. The damn thing is so small, it fits in the size of your palm!!! Not to mention that they are charging $20 for this thing! I could have made a better cake and got our son's info to fit on it! HEB has REALLY gone downhill! I've shopped with my family at HEB since I was knee high to a grasshopper, starting out when they were a small, family run business. But this kind of NONSENSE is what's driving customers like myself to shop elsewhere! Absolutely PATHETIC!!! UPDATE: Spoke with a friendly manager named Ashley, who took care of us. However, it still doesn't replace the fact that the bakery employee had HORRIBLE customer service skills, and, the fact that the cake was small enough that the "10 - 12" people it would supposedly feed would each get one bite and that's it. This experience could have been much, much different with some better customer service and a size demo available for an individual to physically see the size of the cake.

I just had flowers made here for my March 2022 wedding! I was struggling to find affordable flowers because I didn't want to spend $1,500-$2,000 for wedding flowers. I believe we paid around $750 for the bride and groom, 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, ringbearer, and flower girls. Our flowers were of course fresh and beautiful, but they also work with you to change flowers if needed. They gave me suggestions to help make my bouquets cheaper. Good flower choice if you need a place.

I went to Texas BBQ in Magnolia to order Brisket beans. there was a pretty good line-up and a few ordering problems for the GRUBHUB person. It took forever to get that resolved. I finally got to order my beans and waited around the corner. several more orders were placed and put up on the counter...most of them large orders. Things were getting very busy, so waited for about 12'. I was getting a little pissed after seeing so many customers get their orders. I went to the counter and they told me they were out of the beans. I was furious, not only did they not tell me when I ordered, but never had the common courtesy to tell me they were out. I walked out and will never return. This happens way too mnay times

When I am not sure about a bbq establishment, I order a baked potato, and so, I did that here. Not sure if HEB corporation knows a lot about Texas bbq, but do have to say my meal fit the bill for me, on a Sunday afternoon. The price was more reasonable than other bbq places, coming in at about $8.00. You can "Texas Size" it for a few more dollars, and get more of everything, but the amount of pulled pork on my potato, while not a big amount, was fine, for the size of the potato. I was able to eat the entire potato, which I can't usually do. The pulled pork was juicy and tasty, and there was a good amount of cheese and sour cream. Again, if you have a larger appetite, you might need to add more to this dish. The staff is Very nice, and I like the decor of the restaurant, although I took my food to go, I waited inside that area, as they got my order ready. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. So, it might not be the Very best bbq in Texas, but it was good, and hit the 'bbq spot' today, without my having to drive far, line up for food, or pay too much. I would go back, and get another loaded potato, without a doubt.

We came here to give it a try and I got the 1 Meat Plate Brisket. I got 2 small thin slices it came with 2 sides I got the Mac-n-cheese and the Potato Salad. The Mac-n-cheese was definitely not the best neither was the Potato Salad... I think the best thing there was the Crushed Ice.

Located inside HEB, you can dine inside or take out. They have a few local beers on tap and a soda fountain with amazing crunchy ice. The BBQ has a nice good flavor and meats are not dried out, but really juicy. They have brisket, turkey, sausage and pulled pork. You can get the meats by the lb., on a sandwich, on a potato, or even in Mac n chz. The loaded potatoes and loaded Mac n cheese are favorites of ours. Sides are a good variety such as Mac n chz, bbq beans, green beans, cole slaw, potato salad, and a few others. They also have seasonal cobblers. They even give back to schools and non profits in the area! When we want good bbq, this has become our go to place!
