So happy I found this place, we actually followed my daughter's previous teacher from another school because she loved her so much! This has been our favorite daycare (out of 3) by far! Everyone that works here is sooo kind and sweet. I'm so relieved to know my daughter is with caring/nurturing people. Before, I would always worry about her and hated leaving her at other daycares when I wasn't certain what was going on. She's really clingy, so it takes her time to adjust and everyone at The Academy has been so helpful with her transition. Not only that, but I have noticed that she is truly learning and has gotten so good with numbers and letters. I highly recommend this daycare! Only good things to say, everyone I've encountered here is so friendly and welcoming :)

Our son has been going here since June, so almost 5 months, and he has learned SO much in those 5 months it blows me away! His teachers are so sweet and gentle I wish he could stay here forever. The entire staff genuinely cares about the kiddo's and it shows in their work everyday. If you're looking for a daycare where you and your child are not just a number, look here!

My son has attended The Academy for one year and he really loves it here. When we moved to Conroe from another city a year ago, I first placed him in a more expensive center with a newer building. That was not a warm place and he seemed very unhappy. Within a few weeks I knew we had to make a change, so I toured The Academy. During the tour, I found out that the center's owner's grandson attends here and my son would be in his class. Slam dunk. I knew that the owner would definitely be attentive to that class. I wanted my son with her grandson all day, every day! Within days of starting at The Academy, my son seemed much happier. He didn't want to leave when I picked him up! He wanted to keep playing with his friends and all the great toys. We have had experience in three different classrooms here as my son has rapidly grown and moved up. I have had very good interactions with all of his teachers. They genuinely care. They share with me things they notice about his speech and growth, and they give me plenty of notice when I need to bring something he will need soon (pull-ups, other supplies). I have been by the school when lunch is served and they do a wonderful job of providing nutritious, appetizing food. I love that they provide a hot lunch and I don't need to dream up or pack anything. My son also loves the playground. I've been on the playground several times when I have picked him up early, and I have always been impressed by how close and involved the staff are, making sure everyone is safe and gets a turn on the slides. There is shade and there is fun, age-appropriate equipment for playing. I am incredibly impressed by how much learning my son does at The Academy. He came home one day counting to five. I couldn't believe my ears. He was quite a late talker, to be honest. The next day he came home counting to ten. I had not even begun to count with him at home! He heard the alphabet song playing in the car and he started signing the entire alphabet. He learned it all at The Academy at the age of two. I thought he wasn't really old enough for it -- but he saw it, heard it, and learned it at school! I also like that they offer Soccer Shots and Champs Gymnastics once a week during the school day (as additional sign-up options). I do not really want to take him somewhere else after a full day of daycare, I want to take him home, so it is great that he gets exposed to some sports on site with professional coaches who come in to teach. My son also comes home with lots of crafts and coloring sheets. I can tell he gets a chance to create as well as learn how to follow directions. A day at The Academy is very structured and they are always doing something in their classrooms. A schedule for the day is posted in the classrooms and on the Remind app that they use, and the teachers really follow it. Also, I love that I see the center owner all over the place. I also see the assistant director fully engaged and aware, moving all around the building all the time. Whenever I am at the school, they are both highly visible and involved. They are in and out of classrooms, greeting children, checking on supplies, counting kids, having a quick word with staff; they are simply everywhere. They really have their fingers on the pulse of the school and they are on top of everything. I feel good about my son being here because I know there is highly competent supervision happening all day every day. I trust these ladies. This is simply a good place with a strong curriculum and people who really care. Everything you want your little ones to do and enjoy, they are doing it all at The Academy! It's a great value, too. I am very thankful I found such a warm, fun, nurturing place for my son. I know he is in a good school where people value the work they do and they genuinely care about the well-being and growth of the children.

This place is wonderful. It is a refuge and the highlight of our granddaughter’s day. They have made us feel absolutely secure in knowing she is loved and cared for. Her sweet, kind and polite social skills have been reinforced and are a credit to the environment they maintain at The Academy. She loves learning and we are sure she will be on track when she eventually starts her formal schooling. She has never complained about anything or had any problems that we know of. This in itself is pretty remarkable.

My 2 sons have been going here for 3 months now and have learned more in 3 months than they have learned anywhere else. We recently moved to the area and I was upset because we had to switch their daycares twice due to certain issues elsewhere. However, I am so happy that my children are learning and enjoy it at the same time. Lana, and Lindsay are so welcoming.

We switched from a closer, more expensive school and my only regret is that I didn’t switch my kiddo sooner. It is the best! They offer so many activities for kids to participate in like soccer shots and hip hop dance classes/ballet for girls. They are so organized and streamlined with their staff it makes everything so smooth for parents. They are actively engaged in the kids and want to help them learn, not just watch them while you’re away. My son gets sent home with so many projects, crafts and artwork that his teachers have helped him make so it’s nice to see they’re so involved with the kids. He gets homework to practice his line tracing. Their philosophy is great as they try not to focus so much on fancy technology to record your child’s schedule throughout the day but they want teachers actively aiding in their learning and growth. We get a report on what ABC’s our kid knows and his ability to recognize them in writing. His 1,2,3s are the same as the ABCs. He knows his shapes and colors. They sing songs and he has a blast showing us what all he’s learned. He knows the days of the week and seasons in a year. He can count to 40+ and can tell the time on the clock. He is also learning spanish which is something we are proud of. He just turned three. I have a huge box just in the few months we’ve been there with all of his unique crafts and art projects that aren’t just garbage but are truly something to be proud of. Lana and Lindsey the director and asst director are wonderful at communicating and keeping everything/everyone in line. They are also in the classrooms all day helping teachers. They have a curriculum and try to keep kids on track so when they advance to the next class they have mastered what they were assigned. It isn’t the newest preschool out there but after being in the environment of a new, fancy, technology driven school we’ve learned you don’t get what you pay for and the newest doesn’t buy you great daycare. it’s about how they engage with kids and teach them to grow in their learning. We couldn’t be more happy that they had a spot for our son there. We can see why it’s highly sought after with their waiting list. I’ve never had our kiddo so excited to go to school and not want to come home. Even on weekends he asks to go and gets mad he has to stay with Mom and Dad ? we were sold when we learned about the retention of teachers and low turnover. Our sons teachers have been there going on 4 years and the class he will advance to the teacher has teachers with the same which lets you know they love what they do and where they work. They also emphasize discipline for kids. I love that when I pick up our kiddo or take him, it doesn’t matter what teacher checks him in or sees him, they all take pride in knowing each kiddo regardless of if they’re teaching them in their class. We know our son is so loved by everyone there which makes it feel like home. We have never been more comfortable with a place and will hate the day our son is too old to go there. I will keep trying to have babies just so they can be loved on at The Academy. Trust us, you will not regret it and will see the value in what they can provide parents and children.

There aren't enough nice words I can say. My son is 7.5 and been at this daycare since he was 18 months old. Ms. Lana and some of the teachers are like family to us now. And he has been learning since he stepped through the front door six years ago. I will be devastated when he's too old to stay there anymore.

Due to moving around for work, both my boys have been in several daycares. This has by far been their favorite, and ours too! The owner Lana is a real pleasure to work with and knows every parent and child by name as they walk through the door. Her assistant Lindsay is equally as great. The teachers connect with the kids, the class sizes are small, and they do fun field trips in the summer. On top of great hours and a clean facility, their tuition is super affordable.Also- They have a private kindergarten program that was awesome. Miss Becca is the best with little ones- my five-year-old learned so much in a short amount of time.

If i could give this daycare 10 stars, i would. My youngest has been enrolled since 8 weeks and she’s about to turn 3. My oldest is 4 and has autism. He’s also non verbal. The teachers and Ms. Lana, the director, are INCREDIBLY patient and compassionate towards his extra needs without making it seem as if they were having to go out of their way, even though they go above and beyond. All of the teachers know all of the kids for the most part by name and all genuinely care about the students. My daughter has learned so much from attending here that it honestly blows my mind sometimes. Before having kids i taught daycare and can justify that all of the lessons are great compared to others I’ve seen at different schools. Words can’t even describe how thankful i am that the office is so flexible and make everything convenient. Also one of the lower tuitions in this area. If you’re looking for a daycare: stop and enroll your kids at the academy!!

Lana is awesome. My kids started here about 6 months ago and from the moment they started we always felt welcomed. My kids have learned so much since they have been enrolled and I love their learned routines.
