I contacted Thornton’s about my truck via a referral, it was an insurance job, they worked with the parties involved insurance company, got me on the schedule. I dropped off May 1st and it was done by May 15th and it came out great. By the time I dropped off that had all the parts ordered for it and ready to go. Great customer service.

Very expensive. They charge $150 an hour for anything. Spent $325 for an oil change on a Ford E450 V10. $175 for an oil change on a Cummings 4k generator. They had to buy the oil from o'Reilly's. They bought to much and I had to buy 2 quarts of oil at $15 a quart to take with me.RV's every where but no body working on them. My service work was done in the parking lot. Service was good but place had no management. Very expensive. Sorry I went.

Thornton's RV service is the only place I take my Motorcoach. There honest and will work with your Ins. And Extended warranty company's. Very professional and quality service.

BEWARE OF NEW DISHONEST OWNERSHIP!!!We had used Thorton's in the past and found them to be very reliable and honest. New owner took over about a year ago and there is nothing reliable or honest about them now.I requested a quote on a standard repair - awning arm replacement and I provided all the parts. I was told 2 hours @ $150/hour which is a little high but about the same as everywhere else. I was told it would be done that afternoon or the next day.Five days later I received a text with an estimate for $600 PLUS A $300 DIAGNOSTIC FEE!!! There was no diagnostic needed or requested!I refused to pay $900 for a $300 quoted repair and they would not release my vehicle until I paid them their $300 "diagnostic fee". A complete ripoff that I am taking action to resolve.

Our slide got stuck out and would not retract in West Texas and we had to have a mobile mechanic come out to help us re-seat it to get back on the road. The mobile mechanic told us it was a welding problem and boy are we glad we called Thornton’s! We full time and we’re just passing through Magnolia and they found time to see us the next morning. Jake was knowledgeable about welding and quickly found that our problem was not a weld. He worked to correct the issue and got us back up and running! Thanks Jake and Thornton’s, we truly appreciate everything!

My family and I have used Thornton’s three times to get service and warranty work done on our RV. The first two times we were very happy and impressed. This last time was a less than desirable experience and outcome. I understand it’s family owned and is a smaller business, which is why we wanted to use them, but our rv was there the entire summer. Every time we stopped in and/or called, it was always something else that was causing a delay. So while we had family down for two months this summer, we took zero trips in our rv. Finally, we were told it was ready but we’re not informed we owed anything until pickup. We really want to support local, but we don’t know if we will go back to Thornton’s after this last experience.

Love their service. I drove 120 miles to the nearest town without trailer brakes and lights. They got me up and running in 20 minutes. He was an expert. Mind you 3 techs refused me. I avoided all highways. But he literally saved me.

So much I could say. But in sum, we got our travel trailer back in so much worse condition than when we took it for insurance repair. It is actually beyond repair now and what started out as mere hail damage, due to their neglect, water got in and because they rotate repairs, it sat there for a couple months before adding it to the next screw to add. What a nightmare. Gene never ever communicates or gives one iota about customer service. Tells us to meet him “tomorrow”, never shows up, never calls, never apologizes. 5 times we fell for it.
