I came this morning to get my prescription from the er and I asked the pharmacist to double check that it’s okay to take since I am breastfeeding, she was rude and said exactly this “that’s something you should’ve told the dr you need to call and ask the dr” like is that not your job to make sure that it is safe. Giving two stars because the lady who checked me out was sweet but pharmacist was disrespectful.

Annalisa was very helpful and kind helping me find my items and checking me out she was quick and efficient. She is a great asset to the Walgreens team I hope to see her again. She made my day better. She really knows what she’s doing.

Said 30 minutes. Never got a text. Walk in over an hour later and… you guessed it. Closed for lunch. 2 hours waiting, throwing up, and holding my stomach for meds so I could go home and get rest. Blatantly, poorly ran.

I would rate a 0 stars, but that isn't an option. These are the most incompetent Pharmacists I have seen. Only one is knowlegeable. They have so many fill in Pharmacists; an 3/4 of them don't what they are doing. They don't have enough workers/pharmacists in this store at all. You call to see if scripts are ready and, they say yes and like tonight I had three ready according to Tech on phone, went for pick up and there is a problem with two. I realized they are being sued for 7.8 million dollars over a 10 yr period, and now they making their own policies, but this happens every month. After this last prescription, we are changing to HEB or Kroger. CVS is being sued for 10 million to be paid over 15 yrs and Walmart 3.1 million payable up front. Tomorrow, I switch pharmacies. 7 yrs of this. It's enough. I have caught them in so many lies. I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anybody. They take a lunch break at 11:30 to 12:00. You can have been at the counter for 30 minutes or the drive thru and they shut the window no matter how long you have been waiting.

Walgreens at this location doesn't care about anyone but themselves. When you have a line of customers, you don't just close to go to lunch. You hire enough people to work and give lunch breaks. I would give this location 0stars if I could. I will never go back to Walgreens even if my life depended on it.

My husband picked up a prescription for hydrocodone yesterday. The Rx was for 28 but the bottle looked like there were fewer. We counted them and there were only 23. We let the manager know, and she says she looked at the cameras at the count and because those 30 seconds of video showed nothing she got defensive and tried to blame it on him! The Rx was filled more than 24 hours before he picked it up. Anything could have happened at any time in between.
We weren't asking for more pills. We just wanted to make her aware of the issue so that hopefully they will investigate this Walgreens. They need to find the junky in their store and the msnager needs to learn some customer service. 0 stars.
We have been using this Walgreens for a decade. We can no longer trust it.

I can't speak for the pharmacy itself, as I use HEB pharmacy - which I'd also recommend for all of these having issues with them, but the photo department is completely incompetent. There is an issue every single time I use them. Won't be using this Walgreens at all from here on out.

My husband was a very difficult and confusing case and Gail went above and beyond to not only confirm his prescription but make sure we understood exactly why his case was difficult. She also took the time to see how his healing was going. She seemed to genuinely care. I just may switch my Walgreens. May be worth the extra miles.

We moved here a few months ago and I have never experienced pharmacy issues like I have with this location. I recently underwent surgery (a routine one, but still major) after months of pain. My pain medication for post surgery on March 1st was denied by the pharmacist bc they claimed I’d filled a prior pain medication a week earlier; I hadn’t. I’d filled a two week supply on Jan 26th and they misread the month (claimed it was Feb 26th). Another strike against me was that I had another controlled substance in my profile, one that’s taken not daily but on an as needed basis. I had to call my dr/surgeon to call the pharmacy to remove the block which is the last thing you want to be dealing with while being discharged from the hospital and in post surgery pain. Next, I was denied a refill on this same pain medication; this was on me and my physician, who’d shared verbally to double up if in significant pain but did not write the prescription that way and I ran out early. I unfortunately received a uti turned bladder infection from my hospital stay. She sent in a refill for me and it was denied, this time due to being prior to the 7 day window. Thankfully she advocated for me and the prescription was refilled, but not without a lot of pushback from the pharmacist. I am sensitive to the fact that we’re in an epidemic with prescription drugs being abused and pharmacies taking the brunt of it, but for the people in legitimate pain situations, there has to be some gray area. All this to say, we’re taking business elsewhere (although I think this may be what the pharmacist prefers, anyway).

No one knows what there doing in this store. Evertime I'm in here there's a problem. Store is convenient when dropping of FedEx and grabbing things. Please teach your employees to do there jobs correctly and you'll get more business. Walgreens on 1488 magnolia.
